WHAT A GAME! Just what I thought it would be, one awesome game between 2 of the best.
Props in the last few minutes to Pau. He stepped up in D and O. And Trevor, WOW! Coming up with those big saves.
That was payback for the finals and a statement.

i always have mixed emotions when the Lake Show & W's play. it's no secret that i roll w/the Lakers, but the Warriors are my homesquad, and i'll always root for them no matter how hapless they are.

anyways, i was hoping the W's would put up a better fight, but i guess it's a bit much to ask them to beat the best team in the L right after beating the Celts. the w's actually shot pretty well, except for capt jack, but the Lakers are just too big and deep. they put up 130 pts w/KB sitting out the entire 4th quarter! d-fish & vujacic were raining treys left and right, as pau & bynum ruled the paint. even sun yue got some burn and hit a J towards the end! lol

i'm real proud of the way they're bouncing back after a shaky December. hopefully they'll continue to get stronger while Farmar gets healthy.

people in the crowd at oracle were still shoutin out "pass it" everytime jackson touched the ball against boston even though he was scoring...i had a feeling he would come out cold against the lakers tonight cuz of a good game against boston...hes been waaaay to streaky

 

GREAT way to start '09....cavs & celts both lose, and the Lake Show WIN!! we're back in the #1 spot for the entire L!! :banana: the blazers were w/out Roy, but Jordan's on the IR, so no excuses. a win's a win anyways. keep it rolling, we're on a mission!!

the Lake Show wasted a great opportunity tonight to go up another game on the Celtics, who got beat by the Bobcats. KB shot the lights out w/39 pts & 7 assists, but their D was horrible. D-West went for 40+11 rebounds, and cp3 got 32+15 assists!?

i really think we better bring in another guy to help hold things down while Farmar & Walton are out. Jordan's gonna be gone almost 2 more months, & Luke about 3 weeks. D-Fish is having to play too many minutes, and KB is working extra hard to pick up the slack too. We need them to be fresh come playoff time. It'd be nice if our bigs, Bynum, Odom, & Pau, stepped things up and played more consistently.

well, hope the guys rest up and have enough left in their tanks for the game vs the W's tomorrow night.

hats off to KB for hitting the game winning J to beat the Pacers last night! dang, he was balling...36+7+13!? Pau & Bynum gave solid efforts too. it hurt to be w/out Farmar & Odom, but it's good to see the young guys, incl Drew, Sasha, Trevor, Josh Powell, and even Sun Yue pitching in to pick up the slack


btw, a lil late, but i just watched the game vs the Warriors that I had to Tivo. i'm kicking myself even more now for turning down a free ticket cuz i was busy that night. whata game! W's put up a good fight w/out Capt Jack, but the Lake Show is just too big+talented+experienced. Pau & Bynum were abusing everyone in the paint. those facials Pau put down on Ronny after shaking Randolph on consecutive possessions were straight filthy! Ronny's still my dude, and i know he's still tight w/our guys, but KB got him real good w/that lefty flush too.

anyways, the squad is doing pretty well again, but can't wait to get Jordan & Lamar back. we'll really need them & everyone else to be healtht down the stretch.

the Heat played us tough again, but, fortunately, we got the W this time. KB had an off shooting night, but it was a good team effort, as all our starters scored double digits. Pau & D-Fish had double-doubles, and Bynum & Vlad gave us some much needed buckets w/24 & 18, respectively. it was good to see both of them coming up big cuz we need more from those guys & our bench while Jordan, Lamar, & Luke are out.

this homestand is going well so far. the real test is gonna come vs the Magic tho.....can't wait for that game!

he always gets fondled by random w's during pre-game warm-ups. marco & beans felt him up a couple times before too.

those antics sure ain't gonna do much to help the Bay's/City's rep w/the non-locals. lol
