btw, it was sad to see oden go down last night, esp after all work he's done to finally make it out there, but at least his injury isn't serious. i'm pulling for him.....seems like a good kid.

first half is almost a carbon copy of last night's. lake show are playing solid d and getting strong play from the bench mob. kb is off to a slow start, but they're still up 16. no doubt he'll pick it up a bit after the break.

clips looked decent early and so did b-diddy, but their offense is kinda shaky when he doesn't have the rock.


dang it, i was trying to avoid w's recaps cuz i tivo'd the game, but sounds like they're hanging in there aganst cp3 & co.

yup, lake show totally creamed the clips last night. i'm glad they got the w, but i was hoping for a more competitive game. the clips looked pretty energetic at the start, but they just fell apart. hopefully the lakers can stay focused and not get too overconfident or complacent. their next game is sat vs the nuggets, and there's no love lost between the 2 squads.

anyways, more good news.....we locked up our big dude for the future, Bynum, today. he signed a 4 yr deal worth $58 MILL! it is less than the max $$$ contract he/his agent wanted, but considering he's still real young, i think it was a fair deal for him and the Lakers. if he stays healthy, esp his knee, and keeps progressing like he has, he'll be the cornerstone of our franchise well after KB hangs em up, which will hopefully be a few more Lake Show championshipS from now! <KNOCK ON WOOD>

ugly game last night, but Lake Show still got the W. next up are the Clips again on Tues. they're probably itching to avenge themselves after the beating we gave em last week.

can't speak for the other Lake Show fans, but i've been down w/the squad for a long, long time.....even before Magic and stuck w/them during their lean years w/Ced Ceballos, George Lynch, Terry Teagle, Elden Campbell, etc. i still remember my pops cursing them out in the NBA on CBS days! lol

i still root for the homesquad Warriors too, but i really lost my love for them after Webber and Sprewell left.
