took a break from watching the Lake Show, so I could see the Warriors squeak by the Nuggets instead. i had faith the Lakers would beat the Clips again as they did last week tho. keep it rolling.....only 78 regular season games to go!

7-0 & only undefeated team left in the L, BABY!!
i thought tonight would be the Lake Show's first real test, but they had the Hornets down by 20+ points at the half!
KB didn't have a stellar game, but he did nail a trey during crunch time to thwart NO's furious comeback. keep up he solid team bal y'all!

yeah, tough loss Fri nite, but Lake Show were bound to lose one eventually. Props to the Pistons tho. they thoroughly outplayed+hustled us from the jump.
their whole squad was fired up, esp AI. everyone was shooting lights out, which was bad enough, but no one on the Lakers could seem to hit the side of barn. i haven't seen Kobe struggle like that for a long time. he did have 3 incredible dunks, incl that one handed alley-oop off of Pau's errant lob, but his J was really off. Bynum had a decent game, esp on the offensive glass, but, again, the rest of the squad was pretty flat.
that said, i'm glad they lost sooner rather than running the board a lil longer. imo, the loss is a much needed reality check. they've been playing well, but they still can improve. during their 7 straight wins, 5 of em have been come from behind victories. yeah, they were blowing squads out by an avg of 18 pts/game, but they can't expect to keep being able to turn on the juice+heroics at the end of games, esp late in the season. they need to play more consistently every game.

good job by the Lake Show to get back on the wining track by beating win Da Bulls! Pau really played strong w/34 & 6. Bynum put in work w/his 18 & 9 too. Bulls' frontline was just too small to stop our bigs, but Rose is explosive and will be a real nice player.

good win vs SNAQ and the Suns, but i thought they'd put up a better fight. Lake Show didn't eve play that well either......D was pretty solid, but KB had another bad shooting performance. lucky he was able to get into the paint+the FT line. Vlad shot lights out from downtown, and Odom had a good game too tho.
they have the best record in the L, and everyone seems to think they're top dog. but i kinda think the Celts are playing better ball. they destroyed the Pistons tonight, and those guys just kicked our a$# on Fri. oh well, still early, so we got time to improve.

Yeah, great game last night. Kobe could've done better but right now, he has the deepest team behind him yo pick up his slack. I like the way they're playing team ball right now.

yup, the squad really is balling well right now. the kicked the Nugs to the curb the other night and just finished putting the QUEENS to bed!
seriously, real nice game tonight. almost every Laker that played scored in double figures. out of 9, only Sasha came up short. i guess someone forgot to turn on The Machine. lol Super strong game from Bynum & Ariza tho. both had double-doubles. KB had another good shooting game going for about 24 on 50% from the field.
man, season just started, but i'm already hella pumped!
