hope our guys got some good rest in the last 2 days but are still focused. Pau+Drew+Lamar all need to be strong in the paint at both ends....make strong moves to the cup, REBOUND, and don't give up easy shots or passing lanes! we can live w/Melo getting his, but we can not let their other shooters get hot, esp JR & Chauncey! KB, D-Fish, Farmar, Sasha, & Shannon gotta make sure to get out on them. they love to jack up the treys, esp in transition......don't give em open looks!!

slow start by the Lake Show....we can not continue to let squads jump on us and put us in a hole! it takes too much energy to keep playing catch up. the Nugs have way too many weapons to let give them leads. they coulda blown the game wide open in the first qtr. fortunately, KB helped offset Melo's hot start w/his own good shooting performance.

as i mentioned earlier, we can live w/Melo getting his, but we can't let him go completely bonkers. he's getting good looks and has a lota confidence. we have to break his rhythm and make him work harder for his shots. what really is hurting us are Denver's front line.

Nene & Kmart are kicking Pau+Drew+Lamar's a$#es, esp Pau's!? GET IN THE GAME, MAN!! he's getting abused+dunked on left & right! move your dang feet and body them up! all 3 of our bigs need to do better in the paint. they're all in foul trouble but not cuz their working hard.....just the opposite! they are not rotating and giving up too many uncontested dunks & lay-ups. all their fouls are coming cuz they're a step or two too slow and not staying w/their men. they have to work harder and shut down the lane. play harder and SMARTER....stop w/the touch+stupid fouls!? we are fouling way too much in general. if the Nugs didn't miss so many FTs, we'd really be in trouble.

all of that said, props to KB & our bench for fighting back and keeping us in the game. the rest of our starters, gotta step it up and give KB some help! again, our bigs have to play BIGGER! (pun intended cuz they're playing like some 3ft tall midgets so far!) stop being soft & suck it up....quit w/the weak flip shots+floaters! yes, the refs are making some terrible calls+no-calls, but don't rely on them to bail you out! denver has too many shot blockers to throw weak stuff up there. TAKE IT TO THE RACK STRONG the same way they are doing to you!

D-Fish has to shake off his bad first half shooting and hit some more buckets but not force things. he took some bad shots that we really don't need.
