you Laker haters are hilarious.....like gophers that disappear when we win but pop up outa nowhere like those Whack-a-Moles whenever any other team besides them win.

that's one of the good things about our losses. i can always count on you guys to give me some laughs & cheer me up!

man, i am so dang tired i-club eating my replies before they get posted.....almost as frustrating as the Lake Show's inconsistency!?

anyways, lemme get down to it cuz i don't want any more of my time+energy wasted......

yes, i did see jr's violation. the commentators also did and said the refs missed the call. the officiating has been pretty for both squads during both games, but they just have to play through.....can't control what the refs do or don't.

fact of the matter is the Lakers let this one get away+got beat. we didn't take care of biz and finish the Nugs off when we had a chance in the 1st half. we had a chance at the end, but, like the Nugs in game 1, we didn't make the plays necessary to win and sealed our fate w/costly turnovers+mistakes. that's how it goes in the playoffs, esp tight games...gotta be on point+execute to win.

anyways, props to the Nugs for bouncing back and getting this game. they got their split and took homecourt from us. now it's on us to go to their place and take it back by winning AT LEAST one game...starting w/game 3 on Sat. we gotta go out there and hit the trenches+grind it out+TAKE the game(S) tho! we can't relax and think just because we had the best reg season road record in the L, it'll just be smooth sailing. the playoffs are a whole new season. we gotta start from square one and approach every game out there w/out taking anything for granted. we have all the talent, experience, & coaching to get the W's. as always, we just gotta execute and make sure that happens!

It's a good thing I was off on a camping trip with no electronics so I basically missed yesterday's game.
Oh well, just have to do better and grab one in DEN.

tough way to lose for the magic, esp after they clawed al the way back from 23 pts down. dwight was MIA for most of the game, but hedo+rashard were balling. the cavs really have no answer for either of them cuz those two are big enough to shoot over their guards and are adept at putting the ball on the floor to get around the cavs' bigs. lebron hit an amazing shot to win, but orlando played well. pietrus is doing a real good job on bron, esp during the 4th. he shut him down for basically the whole quarter. i haven't ever seen anyone check bron like that. pietrus has been hitting his treys and making other key buckets for them too. (ANOTHER ONE YOU LET GET AWAY, "Warriors!")

really though, i dunno why van gundy had hedo on bron at the end instead of keeping pietrus on him. they should have doubled bron off the ball and prevented him from getting the rock. he's the only one that really had a shot at beatng them w/just 1 sec on the clock.

oh well, i'm still rooting for the magic cuz i'm not really a bron fan. he's nice and all but is just too much of a cornball for me. lol their series should be a pretty exciting one too. the magic gotta just shake this one off and keep doing what they're doing. they beat the cavs 3 outa 4 times during the reg season, so they're more than capable of beating them. dwight has to stay outa foul trouble and be a more consistent scorer tho.

anyways, big game tomorrow.....Lake Show better come out locked in and w/some gusto from the jump. the Nugs play great at home, and their crowd is gonna be amped. we really gotta keep after JR+chauncey+kleiza. i sound like a broken record, but those guys are hella streaky. when they hit a couple of shots, esp early, they're liable to jack em up from anywhere! we can't keep giving kmart so many dunks+easy points either. he's the one that's really beating us. he normally averages just 10, we gave him 16 last game and a lil less than that in game 1. hold him to his average, and we woulda been up 2-0. but no sense talking about coulda+shoulda+woulda.

Denver outworked us all over the court in the 1st half....going after loose *****+rebounds, blocking shots, cutting to the hoop+getting EASY transition buckets, denying passes, etc, etc!?

additionally, our defense is HORRIBLE! guys are standing around watching their men get by them and not helping others when they get beat as well. no way should Birdman have 13 pts a game, let alone in just the 1st half! Gasol+Bynum+Odom need to get in the dang game!? they are getting smacked around & abused like some b!t@#es! show some effort+PRIDE!

man, we are lucky to be down only 4pts! KB is expending too much energy on D+w/the ball to keep us in this game. the others need to step it up and contribute! we can do this, but we have to turn up our intensity and play harder. the Nugs have been the aggressors all game long & have us running ragged. we have to start attacking+putting more pressure on them. sitting back & just counterpunching+trading shots will not win us this game. we need to lock the Nugs down+get stops and move the ball around+get easier buckets! get back to playing top-level Lake Show ball, and we'll have a chance to take this one and get homecourt back!
