That was in April of 2002. 6 months after buying it. Insurance fixed it. $11,000 to fix it. It was brand new so it wasn't at the 80% of the value of the car. But it's proven to be a winner of a car even though it got smashed up that bad.
hey jen, i was glad too see that you and brian were ok....theres nothing more precious in life but life itself....love ya mom and dad, cant wait too see you back out there with us.... =D

Was so good to see you all
I laughed so hard it hurt so bad lol.. Love ya too Son ;-) Thanks so much for coming out was a good visit.
Today I actually feel like I got ran over. Can barely walk due to all the back pain and everything else. When Bryan can drive I know I will be way way ready to see something other than my 4 walls I have been staring at lol. I can't drive for a couple months but heh that's all fine for me.
We will keep u guys updated on what's going on and when I get to escape the house lol.

Just found out DD did have full coverage insurance and my insurance company looked over car and said they are very close to totaling it. They want the body shop to take car completely apart now to find any hidden damage. So now its just the waiting game all around.

i just want to say that im very thankfull that both of you survived the accident. theres nothing more important than life. the car can get replaced and bruises and cuts can be healed....just glad both of you made it out safely and hope that you have a good and fast recovery!!!! *hugs* and cammy (the pitbull doggy) sends her love!
after seeing the pics...i really hope that they do total it. it actually would be VERY boarderline..but if they do you can get a brand new one
starting fresh rather than rebuilding that one and knowing what it went thru and worse what you went thru in it.

regardless if they do or dont total it i will never get back in it. If they total it i will go buy another one if they dont and fix it i am selling it and getting another one. Right now we are at 50% damage without looking into the drivetrain or rear bumper ect. I know about the trauma it is causing heh i didnt sleep all week and when i did sleep last night nothing but horrid nightmares. I know this will go away with time as well. Think tomorrow i am going back to the hospital for another kidney check so we will see that outcome.
Thanks again to the support here and all the support everyone has given us and is still giving us we can't say thank you enough thats for sure!!!

First of all, I'm just so glad to hear that you both walked away.
You've both mentioned back pain. You may want to see a Chiropractor.
Not all Hondas are death traps in an accident - mine saved my life. Though I would agree that Subarus are safer - especially the Forester.
