I for one hope the injured guy lives. I hope he fully recovers to serve his full sentence. And after he is done serving time hopefully he has a life change from his near death experience and all the bro rape in prison.

I am glad the people he hit are ok but you guys are brutal hoping he dies.

It's not so brutal when you consider that a lot of times it's the drunk drivers that walk away unharmed and the innocent dies all due to being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

101? wow that place has turned into a speedway and into a road for ppl returning from SJ, or downtown Mt View/Palo Alto drinking... Well, glad to hear everybody was ok and hope that drunk driver gets what he deserves... I used to go to that area everyday for work and for martial arts practices and had some close calls.

I may hulk smash people but I don't believe in wishing death upon them. Just my personal view is all.

I totally agree it's messed up when a DUI driver gets away and innocent people are injured, but I still think it is not worth their life too as punishment. I believe in the death penalty, but last time I checked just a hit and run injury DUI is not punishable by death alone.

That's great you guys made it out OK. Why anyone drinks/drives is beyond my comprehension. Glad he got what he deserved.

Got a call from the DA and they wanted to know all of our injuries due to the fact he LIVED so now he can pay for what he did. I agree about the living part if he had died he would have gotten off to easy. So they said they are getting ready to press charges on him. Doctors all said to me and 911 that we were so lucky cus the injuries are usually the other way around and that the drunk usually walks away unharmed.

a high school friend of mine got killed walking on Hwy 9 from her boyfriends house months ago, how sad is that.

The driver has had many DUIs and driving without a license sine the 90's or something.
