OH MY GOD!
I'm glad to hear you guys are safe, good thing you were in the STi.
They'll most likely keep the car and fix it, so that kinda sucks.
but at least you guys are alive!

Sorry about the situation, I feel your pain as I've been hit twice by drunk drivers! I'm glad you were able to walk and type away from it. Keep us updated!

They had to from what I understand drag it up from the drop and then flat bed it so yeah that was my concern too.
As for the speed witnesses say yes 90 or plus on the exit he went on shoulder past 2 cars to get behind me(the car behind me was joebobbucket) and then spin back on freeway then twisted around to come straight at my side. all I saw was headlights coming right at my side. his suv is gone. If I hadn't of braked he would have come nose down on top of me but he clipped me so it threw me down to the tree. He I guess rolled and wasn't wearing his seat belt. I am also glad he rolled other way and not follow down after me. So yeah for sure the suby did her job to keep us safe enough.
yaya for my treo phone or I wouldn't be able to type much.

I'm glad the OP got away relatively unscathed...the Subaru did its job right, then.
