Christianity is the belief in Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of Mankind. So who ever believes in Christ as the Son of God is a Christian.

I know that Mormons also supplement reading the Holy Bible with the Book of Mormon.

I don't know that I would with 100% confidence say that Mormonism is the same as Christianity... but I don't know that much about Mormonism. I know that they believe Joseph Smith wrote the BOM based on gold plates he allegedly discovered and destroyed. He claimed he transcribed ancient Native American languages and that Jesus came to America after the resurrection and before ascending back to Heaven.

I know a lot of Christian scholars do not believe that Mormonism is an Abrahamic religion.

I stick to my Holy Bible and a relationship with God through Christ.

Mormonism is a sect of Christianity, just like Baptist, Mothodist, Episcopalian, Catholic, Lutheran, Anglican, Calvinist, etc. etc.

 

I am completely 100% comfortable with what ever might happen in that scenario. And no, I wouldnt based on my upbringing as a Jew.

 

I don't think Mormons believe in the Trinity. The Trinity being God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus.

They believe in Jesus and that he is the Son of God, but not that he is God in the Flesh.

That's the difference that makes it not Christianity. Christians believe that Jesus is God in the Flesh, therefore a part of the Trinity.

 

No I think that is jehovah's witnesses. There are some very interesting rules to the Mormon church though...reading through a few.
