religion argument
I'm quoting the Bible to back up my claims, please show me the same respect. As well as to allow others the ability to see scripture in full and in context.

First, this is an awesome thread!!! Second, it would be so much easier for everyone to just accept that different people are going to believe different things. I am a Christian, but at the same time, I'm not going to sit here and demean and degrade someone else just because they don't believe what I believe.
ANYWAYS, for all those that say there is no proof or evidence of God.. I totally agree! but that's what Christianity and my "BELIEFS" are all about.. its about having FAITH in a being that nobody really knows exist.. It's so unfortunate that organized religion causes such a divide among people, but I once heard....(lol. dont quote me exactly.) "God created truth..the devil created organized religion"..
Have your own beliefs and be grounded in them..but there's no need to lash out and bash others...

and religion comes from man, if man is inherently evil then why trust a book written by men, about other men, that is used as the basis for a corrupt psuedo society.
Also, please quote the Bible when you make references for others
Which part of scripture are you finding it written that Christ brings peace on earth in the sense of no wars?
Claims without evidence are nonsense in a debate.

1 Tim. 6:1-2; “Let slaves regard their masters as worthy of all honor."
Matthew 10:24 and John 13:16 tell us that slaves are never better than their masters.
Titus 2:9-10 “Be submissive to your master and give satisfaction in every respect."
Ephesians 6:5 and Colossians 3:22 “Slaves obey your master."
Both the 4th and 10 commandments recognize slavery and thus give it tacit approval.
john 15:6 "Unless a person abides in me, he is thrown away like a pruned branch and dries up. People gather such branches, throw them into a fire, and they are burned up"

I've used them in debate before. I'm just saying that if I'm not mistaken, most modern folks in the science field don't use them much.
