I give God all the credit in my life for saving my moms life during her complicated kidney pancreas transplant (thin blood wouldnt clot, two heart attacks etc) keeping me safe riding my dirtbike (no broken bones) and putting the rigth people in front of me at the right time...
but that wont stop me from voting no.

What is it about homosexuality that you find so disgusting/abhorrent to YOU personally? Is it the sexual acts? How often do you see them performing these acts publicly? Is it the way they dress? Of course you must be Mr. Blackwell, right? Is it a man kissing a man? If so, then you'd better never go to the Middle East where it is custom...
I wouldn't allow a friend to drive drunk, because it could potentially DIRECTLY AFFECT the life of either my friend or an innocent person who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Please enlighten me, because I'm failing to understand. How does the gay wedding I witnessed today, and the lesbian wedding I'm photographing tomorrow DIRECTLY AFFECT MY LIFE? Please, explain to us how these people who I've only met today are going to affect my life by their certificate of marriage? Does it mean that my marriage is going to be any less valid? Not in my eyes, not in the eyes of my wife, not in the purview of government...
Just because you don't agree with the (implied) actions that take up less than 2% of the total lifetime of an adult, done in private, behind closed doors, you choose to vote to remove rights from these people?

And wasn't that found UNCONSTITUTIONAL in a landmark decision? Hence, the right remains until a constitutional amendment such as Prop 8 is passed to remove that right that already exists.
Cut it anyway you want. As of this moment, it is a right, and Prop 8 takes it away. You asked for a logical argument, and there it is.
Either way, I'm confident the general population of CA are better people than you and we'll end up with a no on 8.

4 people overturned the will of millions of people.
"Better than you" sounds very condescending considering I have not stated my position on this matter.
Please, when you resort to personal attacks, your position looses credibility
What rights are you talking about?
There is no right to marriage.
no on prop 8...what i dont understand is why we vote on social issues it ****in retarded and yes i understand that when u get married there are certain benefits like tax breaks but still who has the right to say who can and cannot be married...or government and elections should focus on different subject such as the sh**y economy

it was not long ago (50-60 years ago) that it was illegal for a "COLORED" (ie black, brown, yellow, pink) people to marry WHITES.

We would have mixed black/white babies... wait, scratch that, that was in the 40s...we're way more modern now so... i mean gay/strait?... uMm... you know what i mean...mixed, tainted ... your babies will be mixed somehow and then the gene pool becomes tainted and we will have to burn everyone and start society over.
lol... so im not the only one that sees this cult-like behavior in some religions...
....cognitive dissonance... interesting s***...
