Im pretty sure I got it all out on the no or yes on k thread. Thank you all for being good sports about my opinion and I am really not trying to disturb the peace. I have a very solid view on homosexuality and will stick to my beliefs. I am not saying its wrong for everyone but as for me and my family I dont agree with it, and I dont agree with thier ability to marry.

I really do not mean to prod the bee nest, and I mean NO disrespect to your personal beliefs AT ALL, but I just want to put a thought in your head about this :
Why let your PERSONAL beliefs effect what other consenting adults do to make themselves happy without breaking any law?
That is all.

I am NO for 8.
Why:
Well regardless of my beliefs and views of gays, they are humans who should have the rights to become married. I understand this is a touchy subject for a lot of people, but I look at it like what I've seen in my life and with in my family.
Remember when Black's couldn't vote, own a house, and how people taught their kids that blacks were the devil himself? What about interracial dating and how once it was frowned upon?
I view this in a similar way since it is indeed discrimination and as a black man I've been through my trials with such issues. You don't have to be black to understand, look at the past and how race and people were treated.
Granted, you'll always have people who will hate, discriminate, and down right think things are wrong. Fine, hate gays or think its all wrong. However, I ask you, does that make it Unconstitutional? Hell no!

So you are a bigot? It is a hateful proposition attenpting to deny the most basic of rights to those who deserve to be treated like a human being. It is being supported by hateful groups spreading lies in an attempt to force their hatred into becoming law. I remember a time about 50 years ago when it was illegal and immoral for whites and balcks to marry, this is the same issue with a different group.

Even if I had absolutely no thoughts or feelings on and knowledge of 8 , marriage in general, rights, and so on, I'd probably vote yes, simply b/c this issue is bound to come up again and again, probably with increasing support, though I can't prove that.

Ok lets talk about a little right and wrong here. Is it wrong to be black? Hell NO. Is it wrong to put parts of your anatomy into stinky places that it does not belong? HELL YES....Homosexuality has been around for a long time, and it has until the last 10-15 years been kept scret and viewed upn by almost all to be WRONG. Because Most people are born knowing that bumping clams while fun to wach is just as wrong as sodomy. Its just anotomically and idealogically wrong. if it was ok to be gay we would all be hermaphrodites. Who knows if your into darwinism maybe if things keep going the way they are we will all evolve into hermaphrodies. OK OK I hope you all understand I am trying to make light of the situation and I did not mean to offend anyone and am just presenting a view on a topic.
