dang so everything is programmed and installed and still a no start... that really sucks =\.. i was hoping to see a video of this beast today also =\... good luck on finding a 04 sti ecu to use. maybe you can go around your area and ask if you can borrow their ecu really quick to see if it will start the car? if it does hten give it back to them and go in search for a 2004 sti ecu.

Damn, can't wait to see it running, looks good. I had a 95 4x4 Red F-150 as my DD for my first swap, damn thing had 2 gas tanks!
Good luck, hope you get it figured out soon!

haha yea you cant see it but so does this one. 15 gallons and 18 gallons. the damn thing weighs over 3 tons with a little gas in it. its a beast and its fun to drive, but the gas is a killer.
looks like i might have a way to troubleshoot my car. hopefully going to borrow an sti ecu and see if the thing starts and then ill work from there

it plugs right in no problems and the 04's don't have an immobilizer so it will basically bypass that system (well ignore it pretty much). it won't run perfect, but it should start with the ecu in.
once i know whats going on i will know what to focus on, whether it be the immobilizer or something in the wiring to the engine or something

yea standalone wouldnt work with the ca emissions
well i sure hope the problem isnt the ecu. using this ecu will bypass the immobilizer to start the key that i will know if its the immobilizer thats messing with me or that its something engine/wiring to the engine thats wrong
