Installed the Alt. pulley, belt, and pass. Harness pads.

After

Before

Trying to keep it subtle, classy, and factory-looking under the hood to keep the Man off my back.
I still haven't really had any time to grab the camera and get out and take some good pictures, been super busy.
Going up to LA tomorrow to pick up some Do-luck sideskirts. Don't know when I'll get around to painting them yet.

picked up the do-luck Sideskirts today;
here's what I'm going to do about the rear bumper mount relocation.

Dzus fittings!
Going to install them somewhere in the area of the brown mark.

Should provide a little more clearance for the tires under load.
Going to get the CF driveshaft next week.
And here's your 'Enkei' sticker picture!

It's easier to work on the car now that we're all kinda settled into the new house.
Here's a quick teaser pic of the sideskirts I picked up the other day;

The angle and color of the skirt make it look more out of balance than it is in person.
I'm thinking I may make the skirts 2-tone with the lower half black to blend it in a little more; like the new mustangs.

Unless I win the Powerball, It won't be 'Done' For a couple years.
I did install some Sparco Kidney pads for the seats, and finally installed the uprated front control arm bushings. What A PITA that was, surprisingly. Not difficult, just time consuming.
Had to take them one at a time to a machine shop 10 miles away through mid day traf***.... not fun.
But the results were very positive after a 30 min. trip through the backroads.
+Improved steering feel
+Improved braking stability
+Improved initial turn-in
+Really 'locked in' the front suspension feel
-Increased road noise through steering wheel
-increased NVH
All in all, a worth while mod. it's a noticeable difference.
Trying to make it more hospitable before I jump in the Modball after Halloween,
Tracked down just about every rattle I could find. Re-torqued all the bolts I could reach on the exterior body panels and suspension bolts. color-matched a few bolts, and cleaned off the rest. re-adjusted all the panel gaps, and waxed the heck out of the paint.
Thinking of using a few small strips of Dynomat in the trunk, the wheel wells, and the roof panel to kill some of the exhaust resonance; Don't know if my skull can take 5+ hours of constant exhaust noise; as much as I do love the sound.
It will all be weight behind the driver seat, which the car needs anyways.
I'll get some pictures as soon as I finish off the Modball Rally graphics, it's a 3 layer deal, should be pretty eys catching, to say the least. picked up some pretty entertaining stickers.
Planning on going to Phoenix in Dec. for Hot Import Nights. Had a good time last year, expect to do the same this year!

GST is putting down quite a bit more power than I am; And more than I plan to. I'm not going for max power, just max street-ability. I want it to be fast on the track, but also a car I can hop in and take on beer runs.
It's funny you mention the plate;
I'm in the process of designing a two-piece rear seat plate, split horizontally. It has to have two large notches to allow the roll cage to pass through. I also had planned on dynomat-ing it too.

Yup, the Beatrush one is currently $183 and with the dollar doing what it has been, it's not going to get any cheaper.
I'm just trying to figure out the best way to mount it so that it's easily removed from inside the cabin as well as the trunk, should the need arise to take it out quickly, or the trunk get stuck (as it does from time to time).
Picked up the CF driveshaft and the CF front badge, I'll post pictures soon. Planning on installing them in the next couple days. I Need to have it able to run 100% before Halloween.

Installed the CF badge,
\/Stock

/\Carbon Fiber
looks really good, I'll get installed pictures soon.
Now that I got my Lic. back. (YAY!
)
I'm going to try and get a test run before and after I install the Driveshaft and hopefully get some comparo numbers.
I also took some old E-brake cable brackets, cut, grinded, and painted them. Now they are going to be use for the Lic. Plate lights to kinda tuck it up in the rear bumper.
I also painted the bottom of the 22b vents black; they were never painted on the bottom from the painter, and have been bugging me for some time now. Hope they turned out well, We'll have to see after the paint dries and I pull the tape in the morning.

I need to go out and get some local shots, if I have time before the Modball coming up.

PM me your number again; I lost my phone at work the other day and some homeless man found it. Called my Womans' phone; Claimed he was 'Captain Ron, and he lived on a sailboat'. So I think it's gone for good.
Returned home the other day from running with the Modball. It was the most fun I've had ever on that stretch of road. Found out the Subi hold the road great at 160MPH against a Maserati Coupe....All I'm gonna say about that.
I'll get some pictures up soon.
Got back from Beverly hills last night, Saw Gov. Schwartzenegger And Jay Leno Last night at my Gig, Leno was driving an Old Smoking Bugi.

I was working the unveiling of this:

YouTube - New pimp car
I got the inside scoop & got to talk to some of the Germans about it.
16 Cyl. twin supercharged (at least 900HP) The Symbol in the wheel center cap glows blue.
I Can't really post much more about it, but I spent the better part of 20 hours working around it and checking it out. Fvkin' pimp!!!
Here's some pictures from the Modball run.

Me trying to get 45 mins worth of stickers put on 20 Min. before we were leaving. I tried to get them sooner with no luck.

Turned out okay I think

some other 'modballers'

I'll post more info and stories soon, I gotta grab some food & margaritas.
Still have a few dozen pictures to sort through.

Here's some quick pictures with the modball decals and the front wheel spacers. Not going to drive with them, just for fender-filling looks.

We went to the pumpkin patch before halloween

They had a petting zoo

and rides

Then she sat in the bucket of pumpkins

This pumpkin was almost as tall as she was
