It's on the way, should be here and installed in a couple days!
Seems like it's my lucky week, someone told me they had these for sale:

Rotora red 13" 2-pc 4-pot rear brakes
They match my front brakes!
should recoup some of the costs when I sell the rear brembos.

I installed the steering wheel, looks and feels great, it's just slightly smaller than the JDM nardi, (350mm vs. 380mm) and is much newer, and it's Prodrive, which is cool and ties in with the other prodrive parts.
Didn't have the correct hardware to install the new quick release, so I'm using the NRG one for now. still looks and works good, so no big rush to change that out just yet.
Getting excited, weekend forcast says about 70*F and sunny, so perfect weather. I'll make sure to post pictures ASAP.

So I'm home, safe and sound. Wish I could say the same about all the cars out there. A Lotus Elise, an 06 STI, and a Raced-out BMW were taken out of commission by their drivers. The Lotus when into the Wall at turn 1 just at the start of the first lap, two cars in front of me, so I had to dodge all the debris, and the session was lost.
Here's our first, 'base camp'. We moved shop a little into the day after I tracked down some of my buddies.

Some of the wild track cars out there.

My New Mascot, Mr. Bill. Went over 120 mph at the track today!

Mr. bill getting chased by the Goodspeed track attack wagon

Also finally got an official lap time at PIR. Entered the time attack, just to get a baseline time, since I've never been timed at PIR. 1:16.3
That was with 225-width street tires.
Tage ran a 1:07 (?) and the Goodspeed Wagon was running 1:11's. Both running wider r-comps, so I'm please with my performance.
Here's my new steering wheel. Didn't get all the parts to mount the horn button.

Another day, another couple of car casualties. A ford GT spun and hit the wall, think it's totalled. Didn't have the camera handy so no pictures, sorry. A raced-out C6 vette hit the wall too. Both drivers were okay. (Don't know about their egos though.
)
I gotta get some sleep, but I'll post up new pictures and info asap.

Lol.
So it turns out the reason it was running weird and not able to push over .7 bar of boost was a pressure leak at the TB, it's was just a loose clamp!
So that's fixed, Should have the brakes tomorrow, it's raining and cold here, so not ideal weather to go wrench on the car, but I'll get it done. I'm also going to raise the rear about a half inch, and hammer out the inner fender to try and gain more tire clearance.
I've been thinking about the coilovers and this is what I've come up with;
I really like the convenience of the EDFC, but the dampers feel a little too soft, They're good on the street at about 10-11 out of 16 settings, I have them at 16 (full stiff) at the track and the suspension is still compressing quite a bit in the corners, causing the tires to rub.
I think the RCE tarmac II (?) maybe be a little stiffer than the current Teins, and when I swap those in, I'll have the Teins sent out for some stiffer valving, so I can have two sets of coilovers in case I have a component failure and to eliminate downtime during future rebuilds.
car was in the shop over the weekend getting the plugs checked out over the weekend since I was busy x-mas shopping for the kids, and they took it down to a local car show, at a now-boycotted dealership I shall not mention by name. good photo op, here's a few pictures I have so far. These are probably gonna be some of the last pictures with the gold rear brembos if all goes well over the weekend.

I guess a sign or something fell on it, but they fixed the dent already, paintless dent removal FTW!

Something I want in the future, Once I turn my attention back to the interior.

Gotta attend to a fussy baby, more updates soon!

I installed the brakes late yesterday afternoon, So I didn't have enough time to get good pictures, but I'll get some ASAP.
My nephew giving his friendly 'hello' to the rent-a-cops

My little helper is getting bigger

Before:

After:

They're quite a bit thicker, and a little bit larger in diameter

there's quite a bit thicker and a little larger in diameter, so should be a good brake upgrade, we'll find out when I hit the track on Sat. hope to better my previous time in the time attack.

Yeah, The rear brakes are pretty cool, and bigger than I thought they'd be.
As for my baby girl, she's the reason why I don't spend more than a few hours a month with the Subi.
I really love her, she's sooo funny, and has a really great sense of humor, very clever and strong, she's gonna be trouble.

I Love being a dad, best thing that ever happened to me, if not the most expensive project ever.
