/\ Yeah, I felt more under prepared here than when I go to the track days!
I'm thinkin' if I do another one, I'll bring a mod list printout, bring a few of the nice framed track shots, and a pair of ramps and a few mirrors to show off the undercarriage. Oh, And maybe I'll have a minute to wash and wax it, and maybe get the track rubber off the windshield.
One of the reasons I didn't bring a camera. I just forgot to factor in that after a few beers, I like to jump in pictures!
I got my a$$ chewed out today when I left an open browser window to the pictures and she got on, Had to explain why I hadn't told her about it!
It's all good, she's a cool chick and I 'worked it out'.

yes, it was mine.
Thanks!
No, I don't want to pay for a 'pro' account, so every once in a while I'll get too many hits an exceed my bandwidth.
Should be back up in a few days/weeks.
Finally got something to cover up the antenna hole!
Getting some work done on it; since my baby is 13 months old now and running around, I don't want to be working with hazardous materials and chemicals around my child. I'm having my buddies Joe & John down at Goodspeed do a little, 'freshing up' service. New plugs, and ALL new ('cept PS) fluids; (Engine oil, Trans, rear diff, coolant, brake, clutch) and a tire rotation.
Car is also getting Professionally detailed before the next track event, It needs it after a half dozen dirty track days and a couple, 'offs'. I just don't have the time to spend all day cleaning it like I could/should. I'll make sure to snap some good pictures before the track day.
I've been putting together a 'wish/to do list'. It's exciting to try and figure out what I can do (within reason) to improve it's track performance & reliability. So far, it's been a pretty bulletproof car at the track, with the small exception of the pin hole leak in the fuel line (Which I knew was eventually going to happen, Just didn't fix it right away).
I'm really pleased with the new tire selection, I wish I could keep it at it's current ride height, but the body work needed to allow full wheel travel without the tire contacting the chassis is a little pricey when that money could be better spent elsewhere.
After this track day, I'm gonna raise it up about a 1/2 in the rear and see if that will do the trick without affecting the handling too much. I'm thinking I may just see if I can get some custom valving for my Tein coilovers.
I don't really want stiffer springs at the moment since I'm only on street tires, but if I can get the dampers stiffer, I feel that should help reduce the body roll in hard, high G corners without affecting ride quality over uneven surfaces and freeways. I don't want to go with bigger sway bars yet as thicker bars = more weight. I've been contemplating getting more track-oriented coilovers, but I don't have the money for that at the moment. I like that the Teins can be adjusted from the drivers' seat, a big + in my book.
Once I get the suspension and tires locked down. I was thinking about how much I'd like to get a Cosworth Dry sump system installed. It would help with power, as well as keep the oil pressures stable during high G, sustained cornering. Then my only other key issue in the corners will be addressing the Fuel tank. Don't really want to go the fuel cell route, so I'll have to get creative with that one too, but I'll sort it out in good time.
I gotta get some sleep, it's late here. Just thought I'd share a little what's going on here. I'll post up some more Ideas I have for the future soon.
Thanks!

/\ I don't think I'll ever be at a point where money is no object.
I don't know if I'm ready or willing to give up the incar adjustment ability just yet, it makes track days alot easier to dial in and test different damper settings. With that said, I really would like some stiffer dampers, Maybe just get the Teins rebuilt with stiffer valving. If I change to a new set,
I was thinking either JRZ's or RCE Tarmac II's.
Subi is all fresh and clean, Lookin' as good as new! Ready for the turkey weekend track session. I put the spoiler back on, still need to get the gasket for the Antenna plate. There a local Subi car show on Monday I'm gonna try and get in. Winner gets $500 in Subaru performance parts. Hopefully it's a coupon or something, So I can stock up on some STI oil and air filters!

Tooks some quick pictures to show off the new shine, and the new engine bling, Prova brake and clutch res. covers.
Also have a Prodrive steering wheel on the way, hopefully will be here in time for the track day!
