Found some more track action shots

Coming into the corner a little too hot for having about 500 lbs worth of people in the car after a light rain on a dusty track, and locked up the brakes, oops.

I participated in HIN at Firebird last night, Had alot of family stuff to do prior to the event and subsequently didn't really have any time to clean or prep the car for showing, and I wasn't able to show up early enough and talk to the Judges about my car.
I should do better next time I go to a show, it was my first car show I've entered, and I had no idea what the hell to do to prep for it, so I felt I did pretty good for just showing up and parking it. I still managed to get 3rd place (2-door, street class)
behind some uber expensive G35 coupe and a widebody RX-7, IIRC. They probably spent about $100k on their cars, and mine was still covered in track goobers and brake dust.
At least the Trophy was only about 3 ft tall so I could fit it in my car!
I'll post some pictures when I get them

Never done the car show thing, so basically I just drove it in and parked it, I probably would have done a little better if I was there when the Judges were, and if I had cleaned it up a little since the last track day it was still a little dirty. Big thanks to Ryan (?) for taking the car cover off and wiping it down, it needed it!

they parked me in front of the beer & hot dog booth, so People got shots of a few different girls at my ride, in between them stuffing their faces!

This is the kinda crazy booth setups that win points, apparently.

I did the same thing as the local meets and just parked it and popped the hood.
Next time I guess I'll prep more.
Had a good time at the event, saw a lot of familiar faces and met a few new ones as well.

/\ Yeah, I felt more under prepared here than when I go to the track days!
I'm thinkin' if I do another one, I'll bring a mod list printout, bring a few of the nice framed track shots, and a pair of ramps and a few mirrors to show off the undercarriage. Oh, And maybe I'll have a minute to wash and wax it, and maybe get the track rubber off the windshield.
One of the reasons I didn't bring a camera.
I just forgot to factor in that after a few beers, I like to jump in pictures!
I got my a$$ chewed out today when I left an open browser window to the pictures and she got on, Had to explain why I hadn't told her about it!
It's all good, she's a cool chick and I 'worked it out'.

Wow, neck cramp and 2 hours later of reading from start to finish. VERY nice!
I'd have to admit and agree though, i'd say paint the doors but I totally understand why you're not. I also kinda liked it with the wing on there. Over all very nice and well done!
