Here's a picture of Last months track event, When the Instructor was driving my car.
And here'e a few from the weekends track days. Had a blast, but the Memory card filled up and I couldn't get more pictures. I was on track with a Ford GT and A Lambo, which was kind cool. Car performed awesome, I can't wait until I get more power and track time!
I was finally able to get some real heat in the brakes, and had no brake fade through out the day. Tires got a little greasy after noon, track temps reached around 130*.

Nice pics!! I can't wait to get to the track. I am signed up for June 20th for Thunderhill up here in Northern California. Just need to get a few things here and there to take care of. I can run it as is, but yeah... Might as well prepare the car properly, right?

Thanks! I was starting to wonder if anyone is still interested anymore.
Thunderhill sounds like fun, I always wanted to do the 25 hours @ Thunderhill, maybe we can put a team together and do it in a couple years?
Here's some new CF goodness, by way of CF STI fog decals and a CF interior badge for the gauge plate.

/\ I'm with you on the Track experience, I'm about a year behind where I wanted to be right now, due to the wreck of the last Project car, but I'm confident that this car will be better and stronger than the last one. I only have a few hours of track time under my belt right now, but I'm doing my best to get on the track as much as possible. I'm gonna take the Summer off and get the last few bugs Ironed out before Labor day, then it's full steam ahead for the Fall and Winter! I"d like to get my car up to Vegas for SEMA, either this year or next, and possibly enter it in the SCC Ultimate Street Car competition next year after I upgrade the turbo.

I'm in the same boat as you, If I hadn't wrecked my last GC, I'd have alot more seat time under my belt by now (not to mention more $$$). Definitely meet a lot of cool people. But there's nothing out there that compares to the feeling of racing a well built Subaru around a track. It's almost as good as sex.

WOOT!!!!!!!!!
Another Track day under my belt. As usual, The Subi performed flawlessly in front of a huge crowd. It was tied in to the Modified Tuner Shootout, I talked to Tanner Foust, Bill from I-Speed, Quirt Crawford, and Chris Rado. I talked to him on Friday at the Dyno portion of the Shootout about his Rear hatch blowing off at the track a while back, he's a pretty cool guy. We were BS'ing about his car and he came to check out my ride, he didn't know subaru made a coupe, He asked, "is it an '08?"
- "No, It's a '98, But I keep it clean." He seemed to like it.
Watched the Cobb GT-R run an 11.XX 1/4, on 20" stock wheels! and the GST Subi coupe beat it and ran a 10 sec pass!
It was a evening race, so I had track times at 3,5,7, & 10PM. So the track felt different every time, as well as varying light conditions. But the weather was awesome, a little rain in the morning, followed by a cloudy but cool afternoon. It warmed up for a little bit before sundown, then it cooled to about 68* at midnight. It was pretty challenging and a whole lot of fun!
I'll try and get some pictures and post them up soon!

Cool pics. Great to hear that your GC was so well received by the community. Definitely an awesome project. I was watching the webcast that one of the shops was broadcasting live and it looked just awesome out there.

Thanks!
That GST car really made me wanna step my game up. I think I'm gonna bite their style a little a replace the rear side glass with a CF sheet. I also want to get a In-car fire suppression system & a Cool Suit before next summer race season. My plans now are to compete in the Time attack (In the 'Mild' catagory, WOOT!) this coming Saturday at Firebird, and hopefully get a trophy. After that it's out with the dash and seats so I can install the crotch straps for the 6-pt harnesses and get the AVCS going again. I'm debating on stripping the wiring harness down to the bare necessities, but I don't think it's really worth the time for the little weight it will remove. Probably won't see the Track until after Labor day.
