I used M1 for 45k and Redline Race for 8k. If you ask me it was the M1 and high rpm driving. I ALWAYS changed my motor oil every 3k or before. So IDK but it is nasty shizzle in there.

WHere do you want to remove carbon? The carbon on the piston tops is harmless. As a matter of fact it tends to works itself out with changed in cylinder temp. The seafoam will break the carbon apart. Are you going to remove the pistons? If you take the pistons out to change the rings, seafoam will work wonders to remove the carbon and the oil varnish. I wouldn't use it on a running motor but for cleaning tough carbon and varnish it'll work great.
