To my understanding it is ported, and I am not the polishing type.
Worked on the motor some today. A suby homie stopped by and lended a hand. Thanks Nick.
Slowly but surely....

Got the timing belt and all the cam gears off. they are 10mm allen heads and the last one stripped of course. Had to dremel the round outer part of the bolt and make a it squared with 6 sides so I could get a Craftsman's #10 Bolt Out socket (hammered it the hell on) and it FINALLY came off!

Hmm it looks like you unbolted the 2 little bolts holding the oil return line of the turbo. I did this too the first time I took my turbo off but then I realized you could just lift the turbo off because the rubber line is held on by a very loose clip that you can clip and unclip with your fingers. Is your return line the same?

Yeah I saw the hose clip, couldn't get my fat fingers to them
Maybe if I pulled the turbo up like you said. Ah first-timers

hehe ya u dont even need to use ur fingers u can just pull it up. When u put it back on u can just line up the rubber hose with the metal line on the bottom and pop it on... its best to have 2 people; one on bottom and one on top.

Looks like your new turbo already has those fittings by the pic. If you'd like to include that with the VF39, it would beat me trying to get new pieces from the dealer.
Thanks!

I don't know what extra fittings you are talking about. If you want me to wait to send the VF39 until I get the other turbo to see what extra fittings I have I will gladly send the extras. I didn't already send do to UPS being closed over the holiday.

I was talking about the oil hard lines that were removed from the VF39. I thought the pic posted above of the FP 20G was the one you were getting and it already had those lines attached to it. I can wait if you want to include them.

I will wait and get the new turbo and ship you all the oil lines I don't need. It's not that I am trying to keep anything and more my lack of knowledge(this is my first turbo swap and the first time I took a turbo off).
