just went to the recon office today for my evo and they passed me.. this is my 8th time getting recon and ive never failed yet. Ive had every inspector that works there look at my vehicles and they were all nice to me, ive never brought manapuas or pork hash to try to bribe them. All i do is go in with a good attitude and treat them with respect, also its good to have everything in your hands and be prepared when you pull up. $15, I.D., Registration, windows up, hood open.

 

^^^this. Attitude and respect is key. One of the inspectors there did a bounce test and said my coilovers were too stiff and let me adjust them on the spot.
