FMIC and safety/recon question....
I have decided to go with the XS Engineering FMIC, however I have been wondering lately how it will apply to recon/safety.
Since the installation requires alteration to the front bumper support, and a few other things, is it still possiable to pass recon/safety? If anyone here has a FMIC and knows anything about this...please let me know. Im loosing sleep! Thanks

I'd recommend getting recon BEFORE you make your next round of mods.

wheels that are larger then 1.5" over stock you need an affidavit from the shop you bought em at, or pay for a shop to get you one. Then show it to the recon office.
There are more rules but this is a start.. I do have the whole recon book in JPG format for whomever wants it.

The recon guys don't even know what's in that book.
To me, passing or failing recon is arbitrary.

So whats this recon? I mean do you have to have a clearance or pass or something? If you mod the car and fail what happens when you get pulled over? Anyone have info on it I can link to so you dont have to all type in what you know? Or wait til Sunday and explain it to me.
Also curious to hear exhaust of those who have replaced stock.
