The reason why I was thinking megans is because my buddy with his 08 has megan streets and has put some miles on them and has no complaints. I've heard nothing but people baggin on them though but he likes them

You're right, just suspension is $322.31 because of free shipping and rockauto is $341.51 after shipping.

Edit: I actually got it down to $309.42 with a coupon code. Haven't placed the order yet though because I'm not sure what I'm going to purchase

When it comes to coilovers, Megans are cheap.

I agree with that statement but he said they only last 6 months which is false.

I'll give you that. I don't know anyone running Megans that broke in 6 months.

I dont have an STi. I was going to rebuild them myself and install zerc fittings but it isnt possible with wrx struts. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think their revalve service doesn't apply to my struts

Thanks tho

*Technically if you have the one's with the silver cap that can be unscrewed once the unit is secured in the press yes they can be rebuilt. You'd be surprised at what specialty shops like FEAL have laying around as far as spare/stock parts. Looks to me like you either over compressed them or they just got dirty oil. Reason being is they're acting just like my old truck's King's were, same for the bicycle suspension stuff I've done. Symptom is called "suck down" and/or "slow rebound".

Call them up and ask, what's the worst they say, "Eff off bro, you're kidding right?" and either way you get an answer. Best case we all get to see you open a cool post about them getting the pimpness built into them.

Just a thought.

**If you really want to get them on board start asking about wanting an explanation about hysteresis.

I have a feeling our definitions as to what's acceptable operation for shocks differs greatly

Probably, but these coilovers have been the same since I got them with roughly 8,000 miles

They don't have enough travel, but there has been nothing else wrong for these last 60k+ miles
