When did #5 happen. If it was recently I'm going to string somebody up.

as for #5, I wasn't there for tha either, but these are occurances that happened within 1/04-now, to my friends.
One straight up purchased a different car although he was bent on getting a subaru before visiting your dealership, the other one went to carlsen to get his 04.

I guess I am the only one who got a bad experience from Carlsen and ended up buying in Stevens Creek. Went to Carlsen (I live in San Jose) in Nov 04 because everyone said they were so great, met Andre, who was not able to meet my price (with newspaper ad showing below invoice in another dealership). That guy had a bad attitude and didn't even say "bye" because no deal was made. Kept his fat butt in his little office as I left. Even told me that adding an armrest would need to charge me labour $$$.
Disappointed. Went to Stevens Creek. Talked to a sales guy. With some negotiation I was able to get the car below invoice. Yes, the sales guy was a "sales guy". But I knew the numbers and got what I needed.
I'd rather get my car at the right price, than dealing with those no-haggle guys with a bad attitude.
I hope the guy I met in Carlsen was not the norm. I've had good experience with Larry Fung there when he just gave me the keys to test drive a TS wagon in 2002 without coming along (another reason why I went to them first when I got my WRX).
