I found some decent pockets of pow here & there. Maybe 6" inches in spots... dust on crust or concrete mostly though.

I was actually surprised how uncrowded it was that day. I'm not a huge fan of the place due to the insane amount of folks who pour into the place for only being a mid-sized resort. Me & my bro bought the Fast Pass for the day. Helped out when catching the gondola from the get-go, on the backside chair an hour or so later, then loading up on Vista during our handful of park laps toward the end of the day. Overall, it probably only got us a couple more runs in.

*EDIT* I forgot to say that I saw a red Leggy wagon w/ FLI stickers on each rear cargo-area side windows on I-80 thru Auburn. My buddy driving his Scion xB kinda had to cut the dude off to catch the exit for In N Out.

I was parked right by home run. I was with IzzyIDK? so farther up than you. There was definitely some nice powder of off lookout. Thats where I always go for powder runs!

I chuckled pretty damn good when Ray says, "Ughhhh... I'm gonna take a break."

I totally know how he feels as I've taken unexpected slams like that more times than I'd like to admit.

Back in the day when I still liked coming to N*, that's where we'd park, too. Lookout had a lot of stashes of pow. That was the 1st part of the mtn me & my bro hit up fr about 10ish to 11:30. There was no one back there, which is why we were bummed when we left lookout to roll down to the backside quad & saw the ginormous line.

Our FastPass helped out some there.

Yeah it was comedy.

I barely hit the road at all. I usually BOOST off of that. I went like 8 friggin feet. Just instantly stopped. You can hear my head hit the ice. It was a painful one.

I had probably 6-8 other falls that day. Ridiculous. 2 other pretty damn good ones that happened within 30 seconds of each other. LOL.

Yikes! I guess I'll have to re-listen for the ice headbonk. I had a sniper take me out @N* in the park on Sat. The light got flat, plus I didn't preview the jump 1st like I know I should. Carried way too much speed for the size of the table. Oof! I got my bell rung a li'l & ended up biting my lip. Most times I ever stack it off anything is when I don't bother to properly scope it out.

Btw, anyone of the SubaBrew Crew gonna ride this wknd? Me & my boy are hoping to use our weekday comps to Bear this Fri.

I won't be able to make it this weekend. I have family coming to visit the munchkin. If I'm lucky I'll get one or two more days this year but I'm not sure I see that happening. I already brought my mug home from the bar.

squaw was niiice yesterday. just cold enough to keep it nice, but warm enough to melt the ice cubes and turn it into snowcone by mid day

Yup! I found the same on Sun. We had to chase the sun during the last hr or so b/c it began to turn noticeable firmer as the winds picked up & as various faces got more shade.

Me & my buddies were wondering what was up w/ the setup. We saw 'em finishing the pipe, which was cut so cleanly. I mean... it was magificiently pristine! We didn't spot anyone catching laps thru the park that day, but I'm sure it must be a sight to see.

So no Ray or Justin, but El Jefe & likely Jordan. I'm hitting up Bear on Fri w/ my homey. I don't think we'll be able to stick around after riding to hang out w/ y'all. We're supposed to catch our other buddy out @ Lake McSwain to hang out there that nite. We'll see though.
