failure -- I assume you want a dojo in San Jose right? Because there's a few in the City that could fit your schedule.

aahh, but i kid, i kid. My dad told me to watch for the small guys and the wirey guys, and i know to do so.
ONG BAK!!!
I would've guess Choku Dori would've seen this
This is hands down the MOST whoopass martial arts movie ever. In fact, it's not even martial arts, it's just whoopass. It's not even a movie, it's just whoopass. The CRAZIEST stuff EVER. You could NOT make Ong-Bak in any other country than Thailand b/c I'm sure this movie violates a bunch of human rights laws by hurting its stuntmen for real; after watching the action sequences I cannot believe the stuntmen could have walked away w/o real injury.
Yeah man, Muay Thai and SanShou make some muscles sore you never knew you had

Well then it all matters how fast you are. I had a friend, let's call him "Miles," in high school (actually his real name is Miles so wth lol) who boxed a lot. He didn't work out, but he was like 4 feet tall. There was this other guy named Ray who was 6' something and benched 400+. I'm not kidding. When I hung out at his house, every 10 minutes he'd pause Goldeneye or Smash Bros., and go do a few sets on his home gym. Annoyed the hell out of his friends.
Anywas, Miles' dad won the Golden Gloves back in the day, but died of a heart attack when Miles' was just a kid. Ray talked smack about Miles' dad, they fought. Ray, the 400 pound bench man / football lineman tackled the crap out of Miles (Ray is CUT, he's not just buff he's a tall, ripped, CUT white guy). They rolled around on the ground and Miles, being straight up SAV, straight up wrecked Ray.
Moral of the story: You can bench 5 billion and you can still get wrecked by a little guy who know's how to fight.
Like, you might think "yeah but I'm so much stronger it wont' matter" trust me it MATTERS. WHy do you think so many hotshots go take a Grappling or boxing class and drop out after like 2 classes? Cause they think they are all that b/c they bench 400, and they just can't take the embarassment of getting their **** beat by a skinny little white kid.

First off I ain't talking smack, I'm the same dimensions as you but I can only put up ~250 on the bench so you are indeed stronger than me.
But...your stats were a lot in high school, but this is real world. Sorry, ask Daredevil, he does gymnastics. When I did gymnastics in high school, there were guys in my gym who were 5 feet tall and weighed like 130, and benched >300, squatted >500.
But that doesn't mean jack. Dynamic powerlifting is the measure of real usable strength. There were guys who were of afformentioned height and weight who could ****** 225+. Simply amazing. There are professional football players who can't do that!

have you read this whole thread???

Fight clubs are pretty dangerous btw, I do not advise anyone who has a grudge to just go "fight". Put on some gloves, a groin protector, and a moutpiece and I'd suggest headgear, and box, or wrestle, b/c fighting is all fun and games till someone goes blind or gets his ******* punctured.
uhh.. i am a small skinny guy. i was just makin a point to that cat that said his size would over power a small guy!!!

Wow my poor thread went to the pooper pretty quick. Well, it could've been worse...
And verc's 100% correct on the fight club deal. Hell, it's all fun n games 'til someone bleeds from places they didn't realize they could bleed from

Here...i'll try to get it back on track. Has anyone heard of Kyokushin? It doesnt seem to be as big here on the West Coast as opposed to the East Coast or other countries.
