He did well in the last pride.
You guys should watch UFC 51 on Feb 5th. I'll be in Vegas for that one, our local guy Dave Terrell is fighting for a belt (local if you are in the north bay-Santa Rosa).
Also the Gracie Open is going to be on March 19th in Concord (I think). My s/o will be competing in that one.

Ortiz vs Belfort is a fight that should have happened 3 years ago.
At this point I care a lot less about it than I did. The UFC looks to have a good
line up this time around. I will be watching it for sure.

Not to rag or anything, but UFC has lot much of its quality as compared to the early days. Less talented fighters, fewer spectacular knockouts, less impressive fights. My 2 cents.
I like Pride FC a whole lot better myself

I agree that Pride puts on a better show. I think the ropes keep the action
going where the cage slows things down. It also seems that Pride will have
4 good fights per show while the UFC might have one.

I'm leaving for Vegas on Thursday to watch him kick Evan Tanners butt all over the Octagon

Hey everyone. I don't know karate but I know Carazy!!
Truthfully I have never trained karate.
So I started out doing boxing for a little while (probably 1 year)
Then went to Gracie Ju-jitsu for about a year. I found after a year I don't like being punched and kicked so I went to a softer sport...Judo.
I played Judo at SRJC with Terry Kelly for about 5 years. I really like Judo becasue i get to still choke the **** outta people and throwarm bars and I dont' have to worry about getting punched in the face or knee locks anymore. I hate knee locks.
So About 1 yr and a half ago I separated my sternum escaping an armbar and I haven't really been the same since. Everytime someone would go knee-on-chest with me I lost my air. Now I am pretty much healed so I am probably going to start back slowly.
Oh yeah, the guy I started learning Gracie Ju-jitsu from is my old highschool friend Dave Terrell, nicest guy you'll meet but he could tear my arms off and beat me with them before I knew what happend. His last few professional fights he has won in <1 minute.
Dave opened a Gracie Ju-jitsu place here in Santa Rosa if anyone is interested in learning from a guy who knows his stuff! I think they have a cage there and octogan. I've been meaning to go by there and check it out.
