^ I was waiting for someone to post those haha, once they hit the market im going to stock up! Also I-club range day sounds fun but I need an outdoor range to bring out the AR15. I've yet to go to an indoor range that allows .223

Located In the peninsula, around SF. Most ranges around here do not allow .223 since they will go through the backstop. Only Chabot, Sunnyvale rods & gun and los altos will allow the higher caliber rounds
I'm up near sac and when I'm not shooting on my family's property I go not to far from my house to a wildlife area where there is an unsupervised range where pretty much anything goes. And on a plus there is about 5 or 6 miles of gravel road to get to it which is fun while it's freshly graded.

Most indoor ranges don't allow anything other than pistol caliber.

Lol I've already gone to SoCal 2 times this year might as well go shooting next time I'm there! Went to rifle gear last time I was down there and oh man that shop is sweet. Guess I'll be planning another trip down! My uncle said I should let him know in advance because all his military and Leo friends rent outdoors ranges and do training also help train others.

Yes. But would be great if you had a spot in the boonies. Does the range let you shoot those at the 100 yard tin can?
