You do realize that under the new ban your M1A and your daddy's Garand will also be considered "assualt weapons", right?

How much is their .223? I can get XM855 on gunbot for 44 cents a round shipped.

 

I belive XM855 is armor piercing, which means you basically can't shoot it at local ranges

I like the whole TAX aspect of that proposed law. Not trying to ban outright (what's the difference if you can't buy or transfer?), AND trying to get you to pay additional taxes for them. Total BS.

At least 47 "bullet button ban", 187 (really?) additional 10% tax on ammo, and 53 registration to buy ammo all failed.

Waiting for Jerry to sign it AFAIK. Haven't heard whether or not he has, but figure it would be BIG news if he had.

 

Talked the guys down at Markleys and they said if it does pass there we will have a grace period until 2015 (not sure of the month) for all this to take effect. Man, I did not think this would get as far as it did, freakin Kalifornia!
