price gouging is just going to get worse again, its not even down from the last time. Just completed my first AR minus a few things and picked up an 80%, anyone know a place to have it milled for decent price?

Thinking of going to the gun show this weekend, scared of how big the lines are going to be especially the ammo lines, need more .223 and 9mm =/.
That's the one thing I was wondering about, the lines at the gun shows. Is it even worth going to anymore? I was thinking of going one last time before all the politics and gun scare/ban kicks back in. I have seen a little price change at some shops and even noticed that they seem to carry more ammo. Nothing dramatic but a little better than before, but not for long it seems like.

I think it might be difficult to find a shop that will mill it out for you. Certainly they will not advertise that they are willing to if they do it.

SlideFire stocks have been around for a while but looks like they are going to produce their own full fledged firearm AND it is approved by the ATF.

Kinda different... as you're actually doing it yourself.
I think you need to know someone with the equipment to do that tho, I doubt a shop that doesnt know you would let someone come in off the street and use their stuff

I have heard of some shops doing it for you, majority I hear is that they give me the tools and teach me how to mill it out myself, problem is the cheapest I've found so far is $60 in Sacramento, I have maybe 5-6 people who need to have theirs milled as well

My friend does it but he is in Arizona
I know a machine shop in the area who will likely do it as well since they're starting to make their own lowers.
