The stock VF39 is not very efficient at all at levels near/above 18psi. I think my targets are now down to 17-15. If you compare boost vs. MAF volts you can see that additional boost doesn't always equal more air.

When paul has time (haha) he's gonna split the cases on the old block so we can do some forensics to see if the bearing really was spun.
Ouch... what rpm did you hit when you downshifted?

Yea I recently spun a bearing basically the same way you did. Sucks....if you look at the oil when it was drained and saw brass in it..then its pretty much spun. Me and Adam over at LIC took a look at the motor when I brought it in the next day from when I spun it...and there were chunks of brass in there

less than 8K higher than 7.5K

the 2.5 motor just sucks at getting oil through the crank at high revs.

that's what my civic did too. (ya think I would have learned). Anyway. I dropped the oil and didn't see any gold at all. Even when paul had the pan off it was clean. I just hope it's just so minor that it didn't get that far yet. It was a very subtle knock and like I said I've done this before so I knew it was only gonna get worse. I didn't want to drive it with pixie dust running through the turbo.

yep. When it ahppened I was like 'oooooops!' but I thought it was no big deal because it was only once. then a week later I started to hear the knock during startup and at some light load rpm areas.

So watch on your rex. There's no need to spin these motors that high anyway.

Maybe I'll take a look around and see whats available. I do like my Whey from Precision Engineered though
Ya, i was reading that people actually do get use to it, so you need to cycle it and take a few weeks off to a month to get the gains back. your body can adapt to caffeine and get use to it...

and i betcha you aren't anywhere near as strong as 3/4's of the people at the gym... including the girls

and why take supplements? because there is no way for the human body to consume enough food throughout the day with the right thigns that you need to get what your body needs when working out 5 days a week... and supplements tend to be 4-10 ounces of liquid that would be equivlant to eating 2 full lean chicken breasts

ummm. I put in a COBB Stage 2 block (crower rods, JE pistons) and added the coating options on the pistons and rod bearings.
