i see your point there. but the slogan should start with the guy telling his friend that he too is interested so he knows what's up. prevention vs. damage control after the fact?

and in the case where crap happens, you shouldn't put the girl between you and your friend like you said.

Hey man...good luck to ya...all I can say is that you need to not let the whole thing go beyond a couple more dates before she commits to seeing just you or the other dude.

Tell her she just needs to be straight up before you invest too much emotionally or financially in the relationship.
