Busy weekend.

Six-speed is in! Took out to autocross and beat on it. Everything was ******* and got a whole day of autocross and 2 days of running around (about 200 miles) until it threw a VSS CEL. So the car is in limp right until I figure why the MapDCCD Wheel Speed Signal Processor decided to stop working.

But, speaking of autocross, courtesy of the1thedave:

Looking to do the 6-speed too in the next year or so. How is mapdccd? There are a few aftermarket dccd controllers out there now. Wondering which is gonna be most effective, and which one is going to me most reliable. Car's looking really awesome btw!

I didn't get MapDCCD's DCCD controller. I got the Wheel Speed Sensor Processor made by MapDCCD. It.. works. Can't really say much else. It's a neat compact unit that does what it's supposed to and the tech support has been spot-on. I've heard mixed reveiws about the VSSpro made by DCCDpro, but nothing but good things about the WSSP from MapDCCD so I went with the latter.

I don't think I will be running a DCCD controller anytime soon and just leave it open at 39:61 or whatever the split is. If, down the line, I get a proper locking rear diff, I may consider getting a controller.

And thanks. Car is a money pit, but fun. And good luck with the swap.
