I put a new cv boot on the front axle, Drivetrain is in. Got it back to my house last night. The dealership gave me a wrong fan, so I need to swap that out and install the radiator & coolant.
The Subi is home, I just finished putting one of the CF doors together, not going to install them until I get the interior together. I think I'm going to take it easy today, is around 106F and i'm still hurting from yesterdays' heatstroke. I should have it ready for the body shop by next Monday. I'll go get some pictures, although it's not much to look at right now, without most of the body panels.

Both doors are assembled, but it hit 114F degrees, new record high. Which mean no work really, it's humid too so no point in working in this heat. Should be getting work done in the morning, starting at sunrise and getting as much done as possible before it get's too hot.

Another Heat advisory, it's 113F already. I've been up since 4:30am trying to get stuff done and beat the heat, but it's getting difficult to get alot done. it's coming along though, Got a little piece of Drifting history in my ride now, a one-of-a-kind, Gauge plate for the double-din radio blank area, It holds three of the smaller gauges (50 mm?) Probably going to get oil temp, fuel pressure, and maybe a water temp gauge eventually. Moved the EDFC controller under the Defi controller in the ashtray hole.
Here's a few mockup pictures, I need to trim the dash that's going in for good, this one is just for mock up and find out how little of the dash needs to be trimmed to clear the cage.

/\ This was a one-off piece I got from the KP Drift car (I used to work there, and I know the guy who owns the drift car. It's kinda an inside joke )

It's 8pm, and it's still 108F. With the help of my girl, we build these ultra-light nylon handles to close the door.

/\ Thanks!
Just picked up the Ball joint boss today, battery should be here on Monday or Tuesday. It's still too hot to work outside, maybe better tomorrow. Going to pick up some more parts in the morning so I can button up the interior and install the doors. New door locks should be here by the end of the week.

I Just put the front bumper together, it looks really good with the flared fenders, looks like it will pull out and line up fine. Looks like a 22b, but with a newer, stronger engine! I'll get some pictures later. I had to pick off all the old brackets from the old chassis to get everything in the engine bay together, and I'm also waiting for a SS STi Clutch line, which should be here anyday. I need to get the front end bolted up so I can get the grill mounted correctly, also going to pick the hood and roof up on Friday or saturday and bring them home. I'm going to get the car running before I start hacking off extra wiring from the harness, and loom everything and secure it to keep it clean and factory looking. Should have the interior done in the next day or so, I'm going to have to wait until next week to start it, still need the battery and a radiator fan. I'm also going to get a Kartboy short shifter and rear bushing next week, to go with the front kartboy bushing I have.

Don't mind the gaps, this was a test fit and nothings bolted down.
It got too hot again and to top it off theres' two 45mph+ dust storms blowing into town, needless to say, not much can be done right now. I mounted the rear spats to the JDM bumper, and I bought some parts to make mounting brackets for the grill. If the weather clears up, I should be able to get more done. I'm going to trim the good dash to clear the cage asap. Once I get it running, I'm going to trim out the extra wires, loom up and secure all the wires better. I'd like to have the interior finished by Monday.

I really hate the heat. It's hard enough to remember where everything is, without sweat pouring into my eyes and my brain pounding from dehydration and heat stroke! But it makes the finally outcome that much sweeter! It's coming along, but I seem to have misplaced the gas pedal and WRX throttle cable and I still need the SS clutch cable, so the interior is not completely assembled yet.

Brought the hood and roof home. I still can't find my gas pedal assembly, and have alot of parts hunting this next week, but I hope to have it running by the end of next week. I took it easy today, spent time with the family, but I should be getting the new ss sti clutch line and installing the correct Clutch parts tomorrow. The previous owner had cut holes in the sides of the engine bay for front mount piping, So I'm going to make mounting plates for the HID ballasts to cover up the holes.
