/\ Thanks!

So, Back from the Doctor, everythings fine with the baby. 10 weeks to go!
Had to get new rear tires for the G (at 13.8K miles ) , to many burnouts I guess.
Also got the black valve stems and all the tires mounted and balanced. It was frustrating watching them try and install the valve stems, So just a little helpful info, if your new wheels come with valve stems, install them yourself first before you take them to get tires mounted.
The fabricator had a family emergency with a 1-week old baby, so he's a little behind, but he assured me he'd have it finished up by Wed. night. Which is fine since I have to take the woman up to Oregon and won't be back until thursday anyways. So I plan to paint the cage on friday, and I'll get some new pictures.
I also picked up the brakes. here's the wheel/brake combo.

This will be the last part of the install. Gonna rock the RS front brakes with the rotas until it get out of paint & body.

I'm still getting over a nasty sinus infection, and my Girl is sick too. But I picked up the car, and the cage looks great. We went to see my baby girl at the ultrasound clinic today as well, she's perfect size, right at 32 weeks!
After that, ran back to the shop to clean the rust off the dash bar and paint the rest of the cage. Long week ahead, trying to have it running by this weekend. I need to get a new battery though. Mine won't hold a charge. anyone know when to pick up a CF Braille battery? I need one ASAP! Here are some pictures of the dash bar before and after, I didn't have time to take and good shots of the cage, I'll get some in the morning. Looks great though, the welds look just like stacked nickles!
Here's what it looked like when I picked it up from the cage shop, bare metal doesn't like our monsoons!

Washed down the ENTIRE car, inside and out. Removed the RS front crossmember and ver. 6 suspension. Cleaned up and repainted the tie rods. It was at least 110F degrees, probably closer to 115F on the pad, so I had to stop, almost had a heat stroke, I was pouring sweat, it was miserable. But it's coming along. Ran into to Clark today, he's going to re-tune my car once it's done. I'm going to take some pictures and make a thread to compare the JDM STi Brembos Vs. the 6-pot Rotoras, also get the weight comparisons as well.

I think one of the kids must have been messing with the camera settings, I couldn't get any real good shots, I was dripping sweat so I didn't really get to take the different angles I wanted. There's always tomorrow!
Engine and trans are in. I'm starting to need parts again, which is not always a good thing. I had an STi SS clutch line on the way, but they had sent a regular line instead of the ss line. The correct one is on the way. My old battery was shot, so i'm getting a 15lb CF Braille battery, it's not the smallest, but it's still plenty light and much smaller than the stock one. Need to get a new inner cv boot for the front right axle, it has a small hole in it. Plan to install the old brakes, new radiator and fans, and get all the new fluids in it. Still have to trim the JDM STI swirlpot setup to clear the Walbro fuel pump. Get all the wiring in, trim off the excess wiring, and get it to my place to finish the interior and exterior body work before it goes to the body shop sometime next week.

Well, ran into a snag, I'm missing a ball joint, and the local dealership has to special order the ball joint boss (black, nylon-plastic sleave on ball joint). I had to run across town to get the boot kit, so that ate up some precious time. Wire harness is laid in, I cut the a/c condensor out, to shed more weight, and installed the heater and airboxes. crash bar and steering hooked up. Battery should be here some time next week, and the ball joint sleeve should be here on Tuesday. I didn't have any time to take any pictures, I'll make sure to get some after I bring it home to finish the interior, doors, and get it running before I take it to the body shop.
