well I bought another car recently I thought it would be pretty useful to have another car just in case I need to work on my suby, or if my wifes jetta is in the shop so...I bought an integra gsr. I admit I've always wanted a dc2 integra so now I have two toys to play with!!! But my suby is still my #1 project my gsr is just gonna be my daily driver. I was thinking of doing a jdm conversion on the gsr...hahah but I gotta hold back my temptation. I'm gonna order a set of skunk2 coilovers for it for now though cause I can't stand having a car that is stock height. I'll probably order a lip for it too but thats about it for that car. It's never gonna be as fast as my suby so ehh don't want to throw a lot of money at it. Just drop it and a lip and i'll be content. It already came with an aem cold air intake and an exhaust. But then again it's pretty hard to find a honda/acura that is stock these days.

well hammy is this weekened so I steamed cleaned the engine bay this morning. I also finished repainting the the mesh on the reverse hoodscoop so it looks a lot cleaner now. This weekened i'm gonna wash the whole car and I should be good to go. I also talked to a bodyshop recommened to me by a member here on i-club on repainting the whole car (same color) so the car will most likely get a whole new paint job in about 3 months. I'm tempted to repaint the car a like some kind of red but i've repainted another car of mine in the past and well it's better to stick to the same color. Not worth the hassel.

ok well I finally got my retune done today! all i gotta say is i'm amazed by eds tuning skills. We first did a baseline pull to see how much power my car was making tuned by gst it actually came in lower then I thought it would. It came out to 255whp and 230wtq. So to be truthful since the #'s came in so low I didn't think my car would make to much power. Well man was I wrong. Ed asked me what my goal was in terms of how much power I was looking to make. Well I don't think very highly of the usdm 2.0 motors so I told him "well I would be happy if I can get 300whp" so he nods. Well i'm happy to say that he totally exceeded my expectations. The car ended up making 317whp and 292wtq. I was in shock well actually I was speechless. hahah Well thats it i'm finally done with playing with the motor. The car feels great and the power feels very smooth. I now can be proud of how much power this car makes instead of being ashamed by it. hahaha I use to hate it when people would ask me how much power it was making. hahah i'd be like "uhh it's slow it just looks fast" hahah. Well now I actually have some sort of power to back it up. Ok well i'll post the graph once I get it from ed. Oh and I tried going to infineon today after the tune. Man that was a big waste of gas. When i got there the security guy told me that they canceled todays wed night drags. Boo So I couldn't run my car today. I was hella pumped too! Oh well hopefully I can find some time to run my car in the near future.

hahah yeah I never thought it was possible to make that kind of torque on a usdm stock 2.0 block...BOY WAS I WRONG. hhahah sorry i'm still getting over the #'s myself. You can actually see my mods list on page 2 of this journal. But currently i'm running an fp td05h-20g on 23pounds of boost and on 50/50 mix of meth. well its more like 40/60 40%meth 60%water at least thats what I used during the tune. But that was just to be on the safe side. I refilled it afterwards with a mix of 50/50. Whats great about those #'s I posted is that it's not a race gas tune meaning I can only have those #'s when I have race gas. It's actually real time #'s for daily driving. Another cool thing about these #'s is that everytime someone reads this that has a usdm 2.0 stock block it can hopefully give them some hope and show amazingly our motors can produce some torque. I mean It's not crazy torque compared to a 2.5 sti block but hey i'll take what I can get!
