hahah picking up the wide **** tires on sunday. I'll post up the pictures on monday of them on my car. I was talking to zoeb on friday and I guess when they had 255-40-18's on the blue bugeye it was rubbing like crazy. But the fenders on that car is rolled. Mine is cut so hopefully I don't have the same problems. I have a feeling i'll be rubbing on the front front fenders I might need to cut the front as well. It's just sooo much work those fenders are super thick. I go through a packet of 20 reinforced metel dremel cuters really quick just cutting one fender. I think it took like over an hour just cutting one fender, plus sanding since people love to stick there fingers underneath the fenders any time they see wide wheels/tires on a suby. I don't want to cutting anyones fingers

Ok couldn't wait, I know different year yada yada yada, same color scheme though. Dang bro 255/40/18. That's phat! Hope you have coilovers just in case. Even Davon mentioned a little rubbing when they had that set up on his car. I have the SVN's in bronze but chickened out and went with 245/40/18, could have went 255/35/18, but wanted a lil more sidewall. Anyways here's the choppage:

whats the offset on the wheels? my 255/35/18's dont rub in the front or rear but im on coilovers w/ +45 offset wheels. the only mods i've done to the fenders is that i used a rubber mallot to tap in the metal piece that sticks out on the 05+ sti's in the rear and removed the fenderliner on the front.

wow that looks really good thanks for doing it, it allows me to actually picture my car with those wheels on. I'm actually going to be going with 255/35/18 so since the sidewall isn't as big hopefully I won't rub? hahah no I don't have coilovers i'm just hoping for the best. Oh and you must have rolled ur fenders as well on ur bugeye to fit 245-40-18's

The svns have a 48offset, I think I will be taking off the fenderliner in the front very soon....I was just saying earlier in another post I hope I won't need to cut the front fenders as well....

the fenders should be fine but with +48 offset wheels and springs i'd be more worried about rubbing on the inside.
