It's funny you say that because my brother is buying one as a christmas present to himself. I've already driven it. (cayman s) it's not a bad car. It's very nice inside, car looks great, and shifter is very smooth. But don't get the reg. cayman that car got no power.

ok well I talked my friend mr. baller will some of you guys here might know him. He has the same kind of car that i'm thinking of buying but was scared about maintance issues however after talking to him i was very impressed with what he had to say. Basically I found out for m3's if you are covered under warranty including extended 100k warranty they will help take care of any problems you may have and do oil changes, and major tune ups, valve adjustments, and it's all free! Soo yeah thats the car i'm thinking of getting but i'm still really undecieded. For anyone else that has experience with the newer m3's and have info about warranty or service please help me out and give me some feedbacks!

oh yeah i am getting the cayman S........i know its not that fast, but i hope porsche comes out with a new car in 2009-2010.

the car that i really want to get is an aston martin, but there is no way i will be able to afford that.

I cant wait to see your M3 man. What color are you thinking of getting?

Is your brother getting the "S"?

Well ur right in terms of it not being as fast as a suby but the cayman s does have enough power to be happy with. My brother does want to buy the cayman s but even if porsche comes out with something else around 09-10 it probably would still look the same. They rarely make a big change in terms of looks for the cars.
I still don't know what color I want to get so it's still up in the air. But I already have some options in terms of what wheels I might be getting. hahaha but in all honesty i'm really trying not to think to much about the m3 because i'm trying to hold myself back from buying it immediatly after selling my car...It looks like monday is the big day I say goodbye to the car if everything works out.

I'd buy an Audi RS4 all day over the Cayman. Just a better car for equivalent cash flow in my mind.

yeah for you single guys with no kids a two seater luxury sports car is a nice option if you got the money. I'm personally not a big fan of audi because of all the bad experiences i've had.

no I just met him recently. Deal is taking a bit long but i'm crossing my fingers that we can have everything completed on monday when I drive the car out to his dads shop on monday and have basically everyone happy with everything including me. right now they are asking me to smog the car but there is no point in smogging the car because it's not needed because the car is less then 4yrs old.

ok well here is the deal if my car fails smog which I really hope it doesn't and well I don't think it would then the car won't be sold. But I was thinking about it. I use to have a turbo civic and that car passed smog. That was with a full greddy turbo kit. So by adding a turbo to a civic and that car still passing smog I don't see why my car would fail. Ahhh
