so lastnight I was talking to a friend and was telling him I wanted to try putting on some 10mm spacers on my car and he's like "hey I have some spacers in my garage if you wanna use it" I was in shock and said sure! I also still had my subframe lock bolts sitting in my garage so I installed it at the same time. While putting the wheels back on when I got to the the driver side while tightening one of the lugs the lug nut key broke! Argh!!! So luckily I have another friend who is gonna lend me there key. But I gotta buy a new key to replace the old broken one. So yeah the spacers I installed aren't bad they are I think 5mm or 3mm spacers. Something like I still want to try something wider but i'm happy for now. I can't wait to drive the suby around and find out whats up with these subframe lock bolts. I'll let you guys know if actually feels different.

I just ordered a set of 10mm spacers since the spacers i'm borrowing isn't enough. Can't wait to slap it on!!! I want my wheels pushed out really close to the outer edeges of the rear fenders. that would look so cool. I'll post pics once thats done. I'm also gonna drop my car off to the bodyshop really soon for the respray it's my early christmas present. hahah

hahah yeah i'm just putting it there to see if I get any good offers just for fun.

Oh and I have some interesting news some of you might be interested in. A lot of us have aftermarket wheels with aftermarket lugnuts right? Well what happens when you lose ur key or if ur key breaks. Well shoot I didn't know what to do my key actually snapped and broke while I was tightening down my wheels. Well after talking to one of my friends he told me to go to les schwab because he lost his key and they replaced it for him for free. So I went down during my lunch break and showed them my broken key. They took it and gave me a brand new key no questions asked. I don't even do any work at that shop either! So i'm pretty happy right now and thought i'd just share some new info just in case it happens to anyone else.

man the spacers look sooo cool on the car. It spaced it out perfectly. I'm gonna take some pics of the rear so you guys can see. The wheels are pushed out and super flush with the fenders. But the 255's are rubbing now! Argh this car needs some stiffer suspension and it won't be a problem. Or maybe more camber but that defeats the purpose of the spacers....

oh so just in case u guys r wondering so my current setup up right now is 18x8.5 with 38et with 255/35/18's
looks soo good thats why I have a little tear coming down everytime I hear it rub.

naw didn't need too. While changing the pads me and sam noticed that it was still like brandnew. Ehh so I have brand new brakepads at home

I guess the extra hp and having stock breaks made them feel uhh useless? hahaha

Damn, dude. I rub a touch in the rear with 245/40/18's on an 18x8.5ET42, and that's on an '05 with the wider rear fenders. I need to flare the fenders a bit, but you're going to need some serious camber or some serious fender work to keep it from rubbing. Have you rolled the fenders yet?

i barely fit some 18x8.5's +35 offset with 225/40/18 on my car. they rubbed but a little bit of hammering took care of that youre gonna have a hard time with the 10mm spacers, wrx rear fenders, and 255's.

yeah when I got home today the passenger side tire was hella torn up from my fender slicing and dicing my tire. I'm gonna take a picture of it tonight but it looks sooo goood. I'm gonna try to add more camber I think it will work....

^thats a close up view if you look close you can see the side of the tire popping out the problem is when i'm driving the side wall keeps hitting/rubbing the fender. But I'm close to making this work as long as I add a little more camber. No one is in the car right now so just imagine if someone was in the car the fender is basically on the tire. hahah
