New bottom bracket ftl. The old one was toast. It felt like it was turning through sand and rocks. It's only been in the rain a handful of times. Hopefully this Shimano BB lasts a little bit longer. Now all I need is a Reba Race 29er fork and I'm set.

You see that tomorrows ride is cancelled? I'm still going to Aarons later in the day if you are down for some grub.

Whatever no name brand that came stock with the bike. Hell, the bike only cost me $369 so I can't complain too much. I'm looking at some bling cranks but I'll wait because I can't justify a crankset that costs as much as the bike. But then again, the fork I want costs 5 bills.
I saw that the ride was cancelled tomorrow. I'll be down for some grub tomorrow.

uh..
I just got home from the bay and it's been raining most of the night. Right now it is absolutely POURING - a rudder would have suited me better on I5 a few minutes ago.
Do you dudes still want to ride? I'll check back when I gets up at 8.

I left you vm this morning. Sorry for bailing - I woke up and felt like complete ****. Sore throat, and my whole body is sore (muscles are really tight and sore for some reason). I can't be sick during the semester so I decided to stay home.
I went back to sleep and just woke up - in a few I"m going to hit Target and get hooked up to an Airborne IV.

You missed a good time.
We rode up Stagecoach from Clementine to Upper Stagecoach (practically to the top of Stagecoach). Then up Upper Stagecoach to Flood and down to Mossy Rock. That whole stretch was like Manzanita, but 10x better and 10x safer. Mossy Rock climbed all the way up to Foresthill Rd., just before the bridge. It was steep and wet so we had to walk part of it.
Then we shot across the bridge and picked up Fuel Break. That was a hell of climb through rocks and ruts. We hit Culvert and then you know the rest back to the cars.
That Continental Divide section was wild today. There were two waterfalls and some of the water ran along the trail for a stretch. The river was moving like crazy below. It was like a night and day difference from last week. Lance and I kept saying that we wished you were there to take pictures.
BTW, Randy didn't show up. We waited until about 10:10. We got back to the cars at 12:30. Not a hint of rain and I swear we sweat more today than any ride in recent memory.
p.s. - disc brakes work really well.
Now to get the front end done...
