Glad you're happy with the brakes . I'm starting to feel a little better, I just felt horrible when I woke up. The last time I decided to go for a ride when I was feeling a bit sick, the wing on my car met it's end

I'd like to check out that ride next week if you guys are interested. I've been wanting to hit the trail that gets you across the foresthill bridge for quite a while. Those trails are great for stringing together longer loops

Hope you start feeling better Matt. I know what it's like to ride during and just after being a bit sick or under the weather.

That ride was pretty fun though; you'd have liked it a lot. I can see bombing it a bit more on the Nomad and in a bit better weather. Some of the stream crossings and mud puddles were pretty crazy. And like Egan said, Continental Divide back to the car was a totally different ride! In fact I can’t remember ever ridding my hardtail on that trail. Just that alone was a different experience…way slower, but still fast enough in sections. Think the 120mm fork helped a bit.

Think I fell down like 3x times today and almost ate it a few more to boot!

DH at the end of the ride is a definite plus!

The trails really took a beating over the last few days. Even the first uphill from the Clementine lot was hard to navigate.

It will be a lot more fun wihtout water running down the trail. Hopefully next week it will be dry.

Yeah hopefully the trails dry out a bit. I was all ready for today - I spent about an hour prepping my bike yesterday. I waxed the frame and pam'd the crank arms, I really wanted to see how effectively that would help shed mud. I'm sure next week will give me another chance

Either day is fine with me.

Now that the temps have warmed a bit, I prefer doing 10:00AM. That leaves some free time in the afternoon for work around the house.

Do you want to ride one day only or both? 10 is fine with me too.

Sunday ftw. If we're feeling good at the end of the loop, or even half way in, maybe we can extend it by riding connector or doing some other parts for fun.

Last week's ride was maybe 10 miles, so I'd be happy to extend it a bit more.

We could do last week's loop, then climb Clementine, take Fuel Break all the way back to the FHill bridge, cross it again, and drop down Mossy Rock to Stagecoach and back to the cars.

That might be fun. I'll also have a 6-pack of Sierra Nevada in an ice chest this weekend for post-ride fun :wiggle:

He'll be okay. We finished by 12:30 last time. Based on the loop I proposed, Jonesy can jet when we get back to the confluence the first time.
