Cool, no worries man. Just thought I'd throw it out. See you on Sunday!

Well I gotta say, today’s ride @ Salmon Falls was pretty fun…but super cold. Hands and feet never really warmed up. We were the 1st ones out and we never saw any one until the ride back and that was 2 joggers and then 5 bikers (1 single and two groups of 2). But once we got back to the parking lot…all kinds a gapers getting ready to hit the trail. Trail was in pretty good condition. No mud, trail was tacky and there were a few stream crossings. We did 11 miles in 2hrs, with a couple of short stops. Only thing I don’t like is that the trail is just supper rocky at the start. Pretty washed out, rutted, and exposed.

Anyway, it was fun and I’d be down to hit it again all the way to the campground (18 miles round trip). Don't know if the weekend is the best time. Maybe sometime mid-week may be best if anyone can make it.

Only bad thing was putting a 1.5” cut in my sidewall on the Smallblock8’s Didn’t even notice until I got home and saw the tube all bulging out

Jeez, my back and arms are a bit sore today from all of the jumping and bombing over rocks.

So, the weather indicates a healthy dose of rain in the coming days, which means Olmstead will probably be a huge mudfest. Where else would you dudes like to ride this weekend?

Yeah, Olmstead is a no go if we get any rain before this weekend. Sounds like it may rain Wednesday through Staurday. So for a Sunday ride, I would suggest something fairly dry. FDLT & Connector will probably be muddy too. It might be a good time to hit up Rockville, or we can do last weekend's loop again - most of that drains well.

I just read a route that is similar to what we did this weekend, only a few mods.

You go down manzanita to stagecoach, then when you get to stagecoach you go UP stagecoach to upper stagecoach rd and take that to Mossy creek trail. Ride it down to stagecoach, then do the rest of the loop we did this weekend from there. ends up coming out to ~18 miles with 2500 ft of elevation change

sounds do'able but me hate climbing

some other guys were telling me about kinda the same loop but starting the bottom of 49. climb up stagecoach, take upper stagecoach, mossy creek, and stagecoach back to the bottom of 49, then the rest of the loop we did...that gets rid of the climbing at the end of the ride!!!!
