I kinda like that idea.

Eh, mazanita wasn't really that fun anyway. It was pretty, but there were too many spots where we had to walk, and that sucks.

Anybody interested in doing the Anadel death ride this weekend? Saturday morning, supposed to be 45 miles total but with plenty of bailout options (and not everyone will likely complete the full run) for people who want/need to jet. Starts at 9am. I'm thinking of just doing all my homework on Friday night (instead of Saturday) and then going up. Lance, Mike, anyone?

Dude, that fork looks bad ***! There's some good threads in mtbr 'Lets talk about shocks' that talk about tweaking the negative vs. positive pressure for better travel and compliance. Was an interesting read, but without the fork I didn't have much to relate it to

Look at the trail review on mtbr. It has a map showing the trail as being in Palo Alto. Kind of confusing.

This fork weighs almost nothing. I thought I got an empty box before I opened it. The pop-lock is pretty cool - it even has compression adjustment on it.

I confirmed the address from the state parks website with the guys on mtbr:

I know it's in Santa Rosa. My original post was sarcasm. MTBR has a glaring error that several folks have pointed out, but remains unfixed.

I'd like to ride it sometime since it is supposed to be one of the best trails in Kalifornia, but I think this Saturday is going to be ugly.

Maybe we can make this one of our "trip" rides on a nice weekend. I'd like to do Lake Lagunitas/Mt. Tam in Marin, Rockville in Fairfield, Wilder Ranch in Santa Cruz, and Saratoga Gap in Saratoga. These are probably my four favorite trails within easy driving distance. If I get a couple more Yakima Blockheads, we can probably fit four bikes in the truck.

I'd also like to do a camping trip this year down to Sequoia National Forest and/or Lake Tahoe. We can combine it as a family trip and/or SRiC camping trip.

That would be cool! Lets get together on this one of these days and try and plan something.

I like the camping trip idea. As long as we camp somewhere with showers so we can get sort of clean after a long, sweaty ride

Oh, sorry . At 6:48, there was no caffeine in the system yet and the brain was not yet functioning.
