Todays ride was good stuff. The 9 miles felt a hell of a lot more like 15 though after slogging through that thick sticky mud
. I still had fun though - those new tires have some incredible grip in the dry and do pretty well in the mud. Going fast down that single track with the bike yawing under me was odd though :rotfl:
Pics!
The normal pee spot. Just after the road is out of view. Rich in the trees, then Randy and Egan:

Me trying to climb the hill of doom:

Rich's turn:

I really like this part of the trail:

The section just before this was VERY thick mud, as you can see:

Egan trying to get enough mud out of his bike to get it roll again:

Most of the puddles along the trail were partially or fully iced over:

Egan pushing through it:

The group. Rich, Me, Egan and Randy:

Hey, dudes, what do you think of this page I put together? There's not a ton of pics up yet as I haven't labeled them very well in the past. Besides, now that I can bring my sweet Sony out on rides, I plan to take a lot more pics (going to buy a shoulder strap for the camera to make it more convenient) and document the trails that way.

Nice site! Your interweb skilz > my interweb skilz
Now I know where these rides you speak of are go'n on. I've beenn tuning up the bike and I'm hoping to be in good enough shape to hit the trails soon! Some of those shorter trails look like good ones to get the kids out on, Christmas brought them 24" mountain bikes...
