Matt, good luck on your race.
Oh, where exactly on Russel Road will we meet? Because I've never done this trail I'm not familiar where we meet.
Thanks

Ok, I've got two pics from tonight. The race was sweet. Sport class is hard! I'm keeping a running list of race reports on my cycling site if you want to check it out

i'm gonna have to hit those once the wife stops working and i don't have to be up the hill to pick up the kid after work.
i think i'll meet up w/ you guys @ connector on Sat if my buddy is gonna come out.
he's newish and i don't want to kill him with a super long ride.

Matt,
Don't worry about bringing the shock pump Sat. I went to the On Campus bike shop and they had a Marzocchi pump with guage for $29.00. I checked my shock and it was showing 100psi......Manual says it needs to stay above 120psi.....looks like Mike's did not check it before giving it to me. I've set it to the recommended psi for my weight and will play with it tomorrow during bike class.
Thanks
Ed

Yeah, if you have them do a fit they should set it to your weight and stuff but really the pressure in the shock is a personal thing. I'm running a little stiffer than the 'race' sag for my fork and the rear is spot on with the trail tune way stiff.
Check out this site. The suspension director at Specialized put together this tutorial on setting your suspension. The stuff applies to the new enduro, but the first three vids are universal.

The Specialized forum on mtbr is sweet - their webmaster is on that forum and points us to all the cool new stuff they put on the site. I asked for a suspension tutorial on the epic and he said they might do it
