DUDE, race was sweet tonight! Nice and dry, a bit more climbing but a wicked downhill and some cool jumps. I hit 32mph at one point and averaged 13mph
. Second place tonight!
There's a guy out there named Rex. He and I usually battle throughout the race (I was first last week, him second. this week I am second, he is third). I got right on him at the end of our last lap and just sat there until the last hundred feet or so and then hammered on him. As I passed he starts laughing and goes "****er!" and I just cracked up. After the race he goes "I heard you coming, I knew it was you, I just had nothing left". Awesome night

I now have to sell my Giant Trance. I've only had it since Sept. so it's in really good shape. If any of you know someone looking for a very good full suspension bike at a good price, I have what they need. Oh, and it's a size small.

Ah so you got the comp
. Well, looks like I won't be racing next week. I won an award at work and have to attend a formal dinner on Wednesday night. I'm happy and sad.
Pic from last night (I can't believe the camera actually caught me for once!!):

Yeah I dig that one. Especially compared to the pic they got of me last year when I did the race. I've really dropped a lot of fat.
Oh, and you can see all those guys behind me that I smoked :rotfl:

Went by Mike's Bike today to see if they had my bike in yet.....no bike but I was drooling over a couple items they had for sale. I'm looking at getting the CatEye Micro Wireless computer, some Shimano pedals for the new bike. I'm going to hold off on the brakes (bb7) (I think I will get some Juicy5 or 7 hydralics) (What do you guys think of Hayes disc's?)
Will be going back tomorrow to get the stuff. Hopefully we will have word on my ride.....if not I will try and be patient..........but I want it NOW
