Nice ride today. The weather was great - a little chilly at the start but we were warm by the time we finished the first climb. We did the new trail section again today, and found a little bit more stuff on it, like a new granite slab you can ride across and play on. Then when we merged back in with the main trail (on the big climb), we turned left instead of heading down, then road around the point to add some extra distance. Then at the end, instead of going off to the left when you get back to the jogging trail, we went UP that damn hill. It wasn't too bad, but it was pretty steep and was a decent distance (GPS says it's about 200 ft elevation in just under a half-mile). The ride down was fun though and made it all worth it

Pics (I would have had more but left my memory card at home like a bonehead). It's two 3-pic sequences of Mike and I going down the big granite slab:

So where we is riding this week? Mike had some potential scheduling issues so no time figured out yet, but where? I could probably do Salmon Falls, and I know this weekend FATRAC was supposed to be out there doing trail work, so the PO should be cleared back.

What do ya'lls think?

It would be easy for me to go from work to Salmon Falls or vice versa.

As I recall, only that first part of Salmon Falls is sort of rocky, the rest is pretty smooth right?

Very smooth sailing after that first hill.

I really like that trail too, so wouldn't mind riding it.

What say you dudes? Is Randy back in town this week?

I'm back. It is really good to see the sun and blue skies again! If I lived up in the Seattle area of WA, I would go postal.

It looks like you guys had a good ride last weekend. I wish I could have been there.

I'm up for riding this week. I'll probably be slow after standing up all day for a week+ and no riding.

I'm tied up Saturday (as usual) but you can come and steal one of my bikes if you want.

Green SS or Prophet, your choice.

If it's 10AM, I'd like to do SF. I'll be at work at 7AM and it's kinda on my way home. (of course, so is GB)

But in all reality, I can make either location.
