Did an oil change on my homies civic right now. Low on oil, stripped nut head on the drain bolt, smashed beyond belief crush ring, hub cap in wrong position so you cant access the valve stem, 4 of the 6 air filter box bolts were stripped, corroded *** battery terminals. He doesn't maintain his car very well(guitar player not mech.) but secondly I can't believe the ****y work that lube and tire shops perform!

Yeah dude I would never take my car to any kind of lube or tire shop that I didn't trust.

That's why it sucks living down here, no good tuning shops

That's a good idea.. A week before my tune I picked up all new gaskets from Stevens creek subu dealership .. Replaced my headers/down/up pipe/cbe gaskets.. No leaks = good #'s on the Dyno!

Try and find some cheap Recaros. I've seen both front seats going for around $600-800 or even cheaper.

Here's a set of Evo IX Recaros for $800 picked up in SoCal.

The plot thickens.... my friend brought his girlfriends car over. Before I started I wanted to check the condition of the drain plug. When I got underneath her car I was horrified!, The whole back of the engine and underside of the car was coated in oil! Due to the excessive build up I couldnt tell where the leak was coming from. Checked the dipstick and there was NO OIL in the motor! I advised them to take it to a shop so they can clean the motor and determine where the leak was. Wasnt about to **** my driveway up LOL

Yeah you would of had to completely wash away the oil and wait about 24 hours too see where the leak was coming from. Glad I take care of my car now
