jody what kind of wheels were u thinking.. i mean spec wise.. cause why would you get springs if you were going to get different wheels.. why not coils? i mean i understand the obvious in price but the limited in terms of sizing is what drove me to coils.. just curious.. oh and coils are a PITA!!!!! the bolts were wayyyy over torqued on my struts so i had to take it to a shop to get em off and it took 2 guys with 1/2" breaker bar and a 6' steel pipe extension to break them free..

Nothing fancy. 18x8.5/9 +45 w/ 255 tires. Should fit perfectly with RCE yellows and a little camber/fender rolling.

so you're sticking with the stock struts and yellows.. it wont be too soft..? not knocking your decision just wondering is all.. what kind of wheels you have in mind..? color..?

I talked to t3h_clap about it and that's what he said would work.

I like the Rota Gravels in white or the Advan RZ/RS-D in gold/bronze. Big difference in the price of those two wheels though

I love my KYB W/swift springs setup! Soft when cruising but super tight in corners, **** POTHOLE DODGING!

Yeah the original JDM Spec-C RA-R wheels are super hard to find and the offset is too high to fit 255 tires on the stock suspension. I would love a set of Advan RS-Ds. That 3 inch lip with a 45 offset is awesome.

I still dodge big ones, but I don't have to dodge every little bump like when I had coils. Just trying to say lowering springs are a lot more forgiving than coils, but coils are more flexible for sure as far as heights and wheel setups etc... Springs and shocks were a more realistic solution for what I use my car for.

You're telling me! They're actually not that bad in price, but it's just hard to find someone who stocks them and is able to ship them out from Japan. Finding someone who's selling a pair is even harder.
