I need to pop my turbo and UpP out and put in a different td04 and an sti UpP.

getting mad oil build up in my turbo. It be on it's last leg. I'm way down on power right now.

 

Can I have your old turbo as a paper weight?

I'm considering sending it out and having it PnP'd and having a bigger wheel put in it.

Not sure though. I'm thinking I might stick some STI injectors in. Do an PnP TD04 with a bearing and a larger wheel. 255. Tune.

Leave it like that til she blows. It'll make me happy for now. Be interested to see how close to 250 I can get on a TD04... lol!


But I don't want to waste any money so I might just put another TD04 in there and stick with what I have and hold out til she goes boom.... I'm at 198,000 now. At this point I'd like to see if I can hit 250,000. LOL!

I am considering rolling out to look at a parts wagon though. Be about $1500 and I can use the interior and have the tranny build up and sell the rest.

 

You can get blown TD04's for mad cheap.. like $40-50. Then have it powder coated. That's the only way I'd display it. Could probably have it cleaned up for under $100. Have a sweet looking book end.

 

Might as well do the vf39 or vf52 and injectors instead of messing with td04's

 

Yeah that's true. I've seen one actually go for free but it got snatched up pretty quick lol.

Then I have to do a engine table like they have in Top Gear. Can't forget about piston lampshades either

Once I get tired of my current setup I plan on moving to the vf series, injectors, and a nicer intercooler...
